Item order.

3x ironwoodbranch,Magic stick,Healing salve + tangoo
3x ironwoodbranch + magic stick > magic wand
If mid go bottle = Rune controlling.
Boots of speed + phase boots ( If ganking ) Power treads ( If farming )
Mekansm ( If playing support ) or Force staff ( Agressive/run type of windrunner ) Why force staff? Cuz it's very useful item on her u can run out from battle or run in it and you can precious cast your shackleshot. Linken sphera ( If there's a lot of stunners/casters in oponnent team )
Guinsoo's Scyte of Vyse ( If there's a lot of carry's in oponnent team ) Monkey king bar ( Burst damage )
Buriza-Do Kyanon ( Good burst damage + Good with your ulty ) Helm of dominator + satanic ( Imba lifesteal = more endurence ) or Eye of skadi ( Allwayz good but expensive ) .. Divine rapier ( If you are really fed )


Never go this items on Windrunner.


Orchid Malevolence ( Shit item for her )
Aghanim's Scepter  ( Yep u don't have reduced damage but u don't get burst damage from aghanim, So i think it's not usefull for her.)
Soul ring ( ? )
Cranium Basher ( Low chance to stun on range )

it isnt magic order, its skill order. and its all as grago says depandable. but orchin is must have item on wind... gives u all wind needs. att speed, dmg, mana regen... orchid is item like made for windruner

You can go so much builds for windrunner, it's not strictly 1 or 2. It all depends on what your opponents have and what your team needs. She can go from full support to full carry, variety of items, skill builds etc.

For example you won't max powershot first on trilane etc.

Your build is nice but that's just 1 of many.

And orchid is one of best items for her, just it doesn't give survivability so don't make that first. Tho it gives attack speed, dmg, silence, dmg amplifier... It's just awsome.

i njoy noobs writing shit

core : phase boots , magic stick , meka , force staff

extentions : guinsoo , orchid , linken , maelstorm , buriza , mkb 

and skillbuild really depends on  lane and oponents   in trilane u go max shackle 1 windrun and max out powershot  stats and ulti only 1 lvl for rosh and towers


and by saying orchid is totally useless item on windruner ur showing how complete idiot u are

how 5 sec  silence with 900 cast range and 18 second cooldown can be useless ? not even mentioning that 25% of dmg health  done also aplied as magic damage

orchid can be useful gives all she needs and team too dont back this item even you cant see competitive players to built it cause in the scene are not all heroes but it can be powerful item cause as you can read above from ppl WR got very dependant skill build on line-up and match so theres no exact built and it for item build too depends on line-up and game situation - you can meka or if pugna you skip and do FS or do FS right away you can do hex cause its always useful but you can do eul as well or instead of meka janggo or urna so instead hex you can orchid
only ban item situation for heroes are just no diff for magina, lothar for riki and so on if its not retarded even midas on carry are good as it seems retarded but its not

and about carry items for WR - in most situations you dont have enough gold for these more useful is support or ganking items cause you got carry already

Imho, if you want to be a carry WR, I'd recommend these: Linken's/Orchid's as first core, Phase Boots, Skadi, Lifesteal and Buriza (MKB has way too many ways to interrupt Skadi, but it is good too).

i tried this build in single player and pwned roshan in secs

phase boots , mkb , buriza , scepter , orchid , desolator


but in the real game i make skills in this order

arrow , windrunner , stun , arrow , arrow , stun , arrow , stun , stun , ulti , ulti , then the rest of windrunners

the item build arm.. if i was mid i usually buy bottle and then phase boots , force staff , mekanism or mkb and buriza etc ..

The best and most common WR build in competetive (ganker / late dps-er)
Phase (always > PT imo, since it gives more run-away power and more chase power, and aspd is overrated on WR)
Force Staff (Some int is nice, damage is nice, but force is really great with ShackleShot and lets u escape from those toughy situations)
Hex (a MUST, unless they have 0 carries. Even then it is good and should be taken)
MKB - dps

Thats what a good windrunner will do, own early mid and be pretty decent late. To consider:
Ult Scepter - Improves damage, survivability, MP, and most of all improves damage from Buriza and MKB.
Buriza - With that much aspd you will be able to use it.
Orchid - I am a big enemy of this item on windrunner but against caster team, it can be considered. Otherwise, just NO. Dont talk to me about damage amplify or sth. Why dont u guys get it on troll then, he can also use silence and amplify... Cuz u are wasting a big part of this item on WR (and troll lol) and Hex is always better then Orchid in terms of disabling. Plus look at the HEx bonuses)
