!voteban - new command suggestion

Lately i experience pretty much issues that ruins the game and brings more fork for ek0 - actions from players that cant be solve by !banlast command.

Therefore i would like to see other way to ban players instead of posting on forums. Command !voteban would simply work as !votekick. You could use it to

-ban host with bad manners (muting people for no reason,flaming,leaving)
-ban people who chainleft the game so host can use !banlast only for the last of them
-ban people who obviously plugged (like shouting F*CK YOU and econ reset)
-ban people without kicking them (even that they will probably leave now)

This command lift the weight from Ban forum,think that also sometimes people simply dont have time or will to post there for ban.

Great suggestion, but how many people have to vote? !votekick is 70%, !rmk is 80% (not sure), what about this?

I would say like !rmk - 80%. However not counting the player who should be banned. If u have just 70% and you are willing to kill the game  you can always votekick the oposition (democracy in practice )

Votekick is 70% and if u have the support of host u can ban the player anyway. So i think the 80% is just fine.

One important thing, that nobody talks about.
To ban (vote ban) a player, the players have to write his name and the reason. Any suggestions?
I think that !voteban <nick> <reason> will do, but I think there is something better.
Also, will the command be available only in game? What about game lobby and bnet?

Anyway, the !voteban sounds like good idea, completely agree.

Only in game - banning in bnet would be damn crazy(who would vote) and banning in lobby would be to harsh - you can still kick the banworthy.

...great idea...i see no reason why this type of vote shouldnt exist...
...as for the percentage of players voting for baning, imo , should be 100 (all availeble players voting)...i mean we are talking about a ban...

I changed my decision. We can't give the people right to ban. What if they vote and the player doesn't deserve a ban? I have to ban (warn) all of them? No!

...same as kick...some ppl dont deserve it and they still get kicked...  -.- ...so do we remove kick command then ?

Kick = You are out of the game.

Ban = You are out of the bot and you must request unban on forum and ek0 must lose more time.

This has been already proposed on forum "Partidilla" and it was denied. Now it will be denied again. That comman will never see the light.

Now its still possible to get person banned even unfairly. All you need is host and majority. Votekick and ban,however the person can complain on the forum - and tell me ek0 which forum is more active - ban or unban?

If pple knew that abusing !voteban would be punished they wouldnt do it - not in majority,as they dont !votekick & ban for no reason now.

Am for !voteban command. 90% players in should agree to ban some1. If some1 doesnt want to ban, there is forum
