The period is 3 months, after that you can ask for the revision of your case and a possible unban.
So the answer is 3 months

i wonder why is that rule, 3 mounth is nothing, for mh it should be perma even that player no more mh, he can do another acount and play fair i know is hard to make like older one, but i think this is the ideea for perma ban.

every ban more then 3 months mean nothing, they can make new account anytime they want. If they are banned 1 or 2 weeks even 1 month  they can wait, it isnt long period, but 3 months is a long period, it is just a matter of time when they gona admit they had maphack. As i can see, someone who admits he had maphack and says wont use it anymore, he gets unbanned but he is on watchlist by admins.It is better to say you had maphack so u wont be scared while playing, they can track your ip anytime they want.

Isnt it impossible to track someones IP if he has dynamic IP?

lol it isn't,you can easily check what account belongs to what player with a bit of extra time

It is perma but after 3 months you can ask for unban. Only few ppl asks + if you ask after 3+ months mods/admins will check if you used some other accounts in those 3+ months and if you used MH. So not every1 who asks for unban will get it.
