Yep, it's coz of the "Aftershock", it's common to use Fissure next to enemy ranged creeps to get 'em instakilled thoughout the game (Since most skills tend not to finish 'em off after ~30mins have passed)

its not fact but very interesting article about how early game laning is important

ofc if you got bad laning nothing is lost, but it can have impact on next stages of game ;)
dont underestimate choosing lanes and switching lanes, those who deny switching are nabz and dont know nothing about early laning itself ;)

Another one:
Don't ever understimate troll pick. He can now make 300dmg on lvl 3 with nuke plus imba slow. Core pick in cm incoming.
