stats suggestion

i think it would be nice if player stats can show when they join, like
xxxx has join the game.
XXX played  0/0 games k/d/a.
sumthing liek that
would help sifting out the noobs in pubs.

copy this and whenever some1 enters ctrl+V and then their name
i keep doing and managed to kick many feeders with k-d ratio of half even
the only drawback is if the game gets full all of a sudden, so u need to keep them waiting
you suck and you know it!

always having to !statsdota <nick name>
gets annoying very fast expecially with the weird names out there jus take mine for eg.

about the flood, u mean it would flood the bot like take up 2 much resources? or it will flood the chat? if so then u can make it automatically be off and then the host use !statson or sumthing to turn it on.

i think that would be awesome and ofc you would get a better quality game.

or u can make a command !stats all
but this would cause flood for sure :P

There is a suggestion, only to write part of the player's name (and it will be in next version of bot).

The bot may handle it, but the chat - not. And when there is a new map, almost nobody has it and the bot autokicks everybody when he joins. But he joins and then he is kicked, that is why this messge is annoying (same as the ip ban message).

This is already suggested (and it is a bad idea).

i tink this would be a vital tool cus bot is used for liek 90% pubs.

I suggest something similar in other topic.
Rax, courier kills and detailed stats like creps kills/denies is not nessesary.

We already have little flood when someone with banned nick with same IP try to join.
In my opinion that short stats would be more useful than annoing.
Also would be great if we could use !sd <*nick*> instead of !statsdota <nick>. I'd mencioned that in other topic http://playdota.eu/forum/index.php?topic=337.0

Creep kills/denies, rax kills... all of this is in the score formula. So if you want it removed, at least suggest a score formula.

When I create game, while we r still in lobby i check most of players stats on site. There I can see by one glance is player feeder, leaver,average or good. There r players who has 1 game with score 50:1. That 1 game boosts stats. But I agree that it should be written k/d/a, W/L score when player joins game. Its not a flood.

90% ppl are only thinking about stats when they r playing. That good, but they only keep eye on their kills. Point of game is to win. When I play, to me only win matters and it should be only that way. Obsession with kills can lead to lost game. For example when Zeus or Maiden steal kills from Mort or some carry. If u watch gosu replays, they have 1 or 2 carrys and they only farm and take kills. Others have boots and 2 bracers all game and ganking all game. 90% ppl cant understand that. In almost every game I hear something like this "Omg I need some kills, I have no kills". Ppl think if u kill then u have gold. 1 group of creeps brings more gold than 1 kill. I dont know how stats r calculated, but win should bring more those "stats points" than score like this one : 20/2/10.

Got another suggestion about !sdall (that i suggested at first). What about if that will whisper stats to host only? That will remove the problem with spammer hosts (he may spam, but just for himself) and i dont see any other problems...
