Can someone tell me how to play war on windows 7 64 bit - i need help, cant go past the patch, c++ doesnt want to work and i cant start the instaler of gproxy

make sure u install x86 even when u use 64bit system.
1. c++ packages x86 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

i menaged to patch it, i cant download that c++ but i got on my pc the c++ 2015 redistrubale x64 and x84, but the installer doesnt want to work - the one for gproxy ....

This is what i get when i try to start up the exe of the instaler, the message i recieve :

Do you have windows 7 or windows 7 service pack 1?

Anyway, you can use installer v5 until we find the solution to this problem.

This error means that you are either missing some windows updates or did not properly install visual c++ 2015 redistributable x86.

u have to uninstall x64 bit version and reboot after before installing loader.
in case it wont work, I would provide different x86 packages and u can try it.

Now when i try to start the update this shows up :

Now it works i just installed installer 5 and it updated, can i just ask what is the difference from instaler 6 and 5?

info from source: Migrated to VS 2015, refactored GProxy, chatbuffers, improved logging, bugfixes.

Just ignore that and switch to LAUNCHER tab.... or disable autoupdates (uncheck that blue square) and restart loader and it should work fine... if u want to try new features, just instal v6 again

Can you first tell me what did you do to fix the previous problem?

I assume he had same problem as me earlier on, and that x64 package conflicting with x86 one.
