In about 10 minutes Felix Baumgartner is gonna jump from space in a capsule from an altitude of 36,5 km's.

Felix Baumgartner will undertake a stratospheric balloon flight to more than 120,000 feet / 36,576 meters and make a record-breaking freefall jump in the attempt to become the first man to break the speed of sound in freefall (an estimated 690 miles / 1,110 kilometers per hour), while delivering valuable data for medical and scientific advancement.

He must be wearing some special aerodynamic costume, because (as far as memory serves) I read somewhere that normally during freefall you'd never break speed of sound (can't reacall exact value, but it's something much much lower). Moveover, maximum speed is acquired after approximately 750m - then air simply doesn't let you speed up any further.

Ooooor maybe it's the low pressure up there? Could be the option too.

Edit - lol, disregard this. I didn't really see the actual height at first, it woudn't even make sense if he left the capsule
