I always think this way : Good music is good music if it has its originality and flow (and some few more things ), genre doesnt matter. And i honestly think , people who spit music based on genres and spam youtube ,OMG HOW U CAN LISTEN TO THIS CRAP , SKRILEX RULZ , are idiots and any other comment of that type are made by idiots who know shit about music.

I do split music based on genre, kind of. For me it is: metal, funny stuff and other
But as you said, I don't get ppl on YT who are searching for some vids just to say "This is crap, how can you listen to this sh*t, XXX is bazilion times better" etc. I see these comments often, I listen to many different kinds of metal (melodic death mainly), and there are ppl complaining about vocals mainly (unclean vocals, growl, grunt etc). And other guys are like "How can you listen to this sh*t, they can't sing, XXX is way better", by XXX in this case I mean some metalcore/emocore/screaming bands...

If I don't like something, I'm not searching for it. I won't listen to it and i won't comment it. Isn't it simple?!
