I have a question for those of you who play dota2.Does anybody know how the matchmaking system works.I find myself quite often playing with guys whos first itme are boots of speed ...

It's very hard to find nice games.Here on playdota you could jsut !sd someone and see his stats or you could allow just people with 1800++ psr in your game.But i can't find anything similar in dota2.

I tried to find lobby games but its always empty .dunno if i'm doing smth wrong.

Is there any way you can find better games??

2) Reinstall War3 TFT
3) Download the latest patch and euroloader
4) www.getdota.com and dl the latest map
5) Host your own game

Lobby? There's a matchmaking. And if you want non-ranked lobby, then these are usually either invloving bots or scrims, both protected by password.

And where does MM put you depends on your results. If they are bad to the point of boots first, own them until MM ranks you higher. Everyone has to come trough that.

true, and when u first time start dota 2 game, question pop ups, askin u which core of player you are..

So well, if u chosen easy / nab (or wateva is it called there) ofc u will be with lowbies... But, everything depends on your score... Better score, better players...

yeah i know that it's like here on pd everyone has to go through  the same shitty part at the beginning.

But are there any levels like

0-50 wins you play with noobs

50 - 100 better players and so on...

whenever i play solo matchmaking i always play against noobs

when i play duo i get into high matchmaking

when i play 3 4 5 man stacks we always get  same as our oponents  for example 3+1+1

or 3+2 vs our 4+1 or so

AFAIK there is no real way to check how high are you ranked. However you can visit http://stats.dota2.be,  signup and check your per-hero stats in a bit more detailed way that trough Dota 2 itself (average K/D,  GPM).

But you can also check global stats, so you could, for example

ROFL at  luna Top 5 winrate (Top 3 last 3 days), Top 6 lasthits, Top 3 GPM
ROFL again at PA being 2nd most popular pick last 3 days (just to have one of lowest winrates)
Etc.

i played a few games with some random people in partys and i gotta admit you were right.There is a huge difference between games i played alone (always like 2 or 3 nooobs ) and games i played in partys(almost none noobs).

one does not simply get 2 tr guys (no offence to any1) who cant even play dota1, in your dota2 team...that huskar and axe..


for example :huskar lvl 14 k/d 2/16 (2 stolen kills from me lawl) in 52 mins game....
