You're heading in right direction with assiciations.

@AGENT if kittens were involved in the song in any way, it'd proabably be about murder and not giving a fuck. Instead, it's actually about suicide and giving a fuck. Mainly because there's no kittens, I suppose. I just used lolcats as a medium for the heck of it.

Some more trivia - band's most pouplar recording is actually not their original song, but a cover. Incidentally, that covered song, just like cats, got memed to hell and back.

Now, actual hint - another meaning of band's name means being interrupted.
