Wouldn't be better when a post is made the user to be redirected back to the topic instead of to the parent section?

yes i think it would be better instead after you finish ur post you have to open the topic again to check what you posted ..

Profile --> Modify Profile --> Look and Layout --> Tick Return to topics after posting by default.

Didn't think of that. By the way this is the 1st forum I encounter this option to be turned off by default.

I am looking at a private conversation, but I can only see the received messages. I don't see the ones I have sent.
