So, this is what would make dota community f*cking awesome! First of all, i should say i am tryharding / playing serious very rarely. I used to play for fun and stuff, but sometimes there are some games that you do not want to lose for some reason, so you start playing a bit more serious than usually So, idea is very simple:

Or just give the icon and player sets it if they want to? Or make it configurable on some web page? Or always set as active by default only to those who have no custom icon currently set? This is intuitive for me that custom /icon should always override auto icon. When /icon is not set manually, let it be automatically assigned by new system If this is hard to detect, whether icon is set or not, - i would create new pseudo-icon name, so when you use /icon ladder (or /icon default), it would set flag that custom icon is not set by user. |
