Lawl, I just posted my opinion (which was relevant to the thread), right now you're the one hijacking this thread by making it about me (for reasons I just cannot fathom, I feel so important!). If this turns into a 20 page ramble thread (like the one where I did nothing but state a perfectly valid complaint), then guess who will be to blame! Will it be me? Hmm dont think so

Spamming? The what in the who's hoo-hoo now? I contributed to this discussion by pointing out why having techies in the team should not qualify as an unplayable condition. That's on-topic right? amirite?? Just because my post was longer (and it wasnt even that long, under a hundred words for sure) than the average street sign does not mean that I am spamming. What the hell? I dont even..

Get your definitions straight. (and maybe actually READ a reply before you mindlessly proclaim it to be spam)

the rule doesn`t define "unplayable conditions", so it`s up to everyone; if 4 players thought they can`t play like that, i respect their decision . whats the point in playing a game against 4 players who don`t want to play anymore from minute 8 of the game? and it was a private game, next time pick in ur private game players who u like to play with

Oh please. Since the rules mention "unplayable conditions" one should actually look for a condition or circumstance that renders the game unplayable. Now the bot having spikes or a significant number of players having lagspikes both qualify beautifully, and Im even willing to include having an early leaver as an "unplayable condition". Having a hero that you dislike on your team and then claiming "unplayable conditions" is just plain stupid, and is in the spheres of "omg i didnt get my favorite hero riki, must plugpull". How does getting techies render the game "unplayable" then? You still have a good ping, good fps, and a functioning computer.

Techies is just another hero. Im not saying he's a competitive top pick (even though I think kuroky tried playing him competitively), but he can still be extremely useful in the right hands. A competent techies can be swimming in kills by the end of early game and can help push his team to victory.

If you actually meant that any rmk vote supported by 40% of the players should be followed, why mention unplayable conditions in the rule?

But in all seriousness sylver_rain, when you make a case against someone its your responsibility to point out the evidence. Saying "he's guilty" and then asking people to look up the evidence themselves is just too weird. You must gather it and present it.

You are accusing a mod of consequently treating people unfairly in requests I take it? That's fantastic n all, but since you have presented no proof whatsoever your argument does not impress me. Someone "not having had a good fuck in while" and "having no friends at all" is random, useless speculation playing the man, not the "ball" as it were.

If you're really serious about this, present your case with actual evidence. Im all for somebody locking this thread asap.

Okay, Ill try to be as clear as possible now:
Again you have stated an opinion without giving me any valid reasoning or referring to a rule.
HE LEFT, PLAYER MUST NOT LEAVE. I have argued this for pages and you have still not proven me wrong. Be it a warn, a ban, a disc, a plug, ALT-F4 or mommy disconnecting the router, he still broke this rule, I have therefore banned him with good reason and in good conscience.

Should I be having a list of people's previous offenses the size of an encyclopedia as a host? Ofcourse I could not know if this was his first offense or not (but since you have claimed him to be a frequent lagger, I consider it likely that this is not even his first offense). Assuming that I as the wronged party should put in extra effort by requesting a ban for a lagger, instead of the actual rule-breaker putting in some extra effort by requesting an unban makes absolutely zero sense and is nowhere to be found in the rules. Again you are apparently making up new rules as you go!

I keep referring to the rules because cases should be judged by the rules. It's done everywhere in the world, be it in courts of law, Clanbase, GGL, MLG, WDC and whatnot. But it's supposedly different here? Instead of applying this case to the rules to see which party is right, we should just let some mod judge this based on nothing but his imagination? Do you even see what happens when you dont stick to the rules in cases like these? You get a bunch of condescending and arrogant mods state their opinion as if it were word of law. If you dont judge mods by the rules then they are free to do anything they like. Do you really "feel" this would be a good thing?
