So, if you decide to try League of Legends here's what you need to know (game is completely free):
First you need to register. To do this, follow the link: Registration
Fill out the registration fields and click "PLAY FOR FREE".
After that, you could download the game client. If you havent client yet, then download it.
Ranked (ranked games are only available at level 30), press Play -> Normal -> Solo (if you want to play with your friend(s), press Arranged Team) -> select 5x5 or 3x3, and play.
For each game you get experience and IP points. Every 22 hours you can get "First win of the day": gives 150 additional experience and IP points if you have won. For IP points you can buy new champions or runes. Runes are relevant only on 20 level, until 20 level i dont recommend to buy them.
Also, if you want all at once you can buy champions for real money.
