Tournaments / 2v2 Tournament !!!

PlayDota.Eu crew proudly presents PlayDota.eu tournament. But now this tour will be 2v2. In this kind of tournament we'll try to find out who is best "Couple" of PlayDota.eu players. For Rules read the following topic:

SIGN UP AND CHECK IN SYSTEM

We will use the check-in system to avoid last minute problems. It's the same method which we used on other 1v1 or 2v2 tours. Players who want to participate in this tour will have to come to pd tour channel to check-in(sign) 30mins before the start of tour.

CHECK-IN DATE: 01.02.2012 at 17:30 SERVER TIME
TOUR START: 01.02.2012 at 18:00 SERVER TIME

Important Note: It would take around 3 hours to finish this tour but players who come to sign up must have at least time till 22:00 server time

DotA Discussion / about 90% of the games on pd are noobs only :(

Dont you think it is too sad that about 90% of the games in this server are noob games ;x Sometimes when i am at home in the morning i have to spend about 10-20mins only finding a pro game ;x Looking at the Ladder games on pd.eu i can only see Trapem noob games ;d, Apem noob games grrr so frustrating.

P.S. For conclusion does this make Playdota.eu a noob server or not ? what do u think ;d

I think there should be some limitation on accounts created from the same IP ... and i also think that the only reason there are 256521 accounts in eurobattle is that people decide they have bad stats and want to create new ID, or most likely if they are perma banned for example for map hacking ...

What is the point of banning when simply you can just create new account and play... i exclude the people with psr with over 1850 which could be hard to regain... but say if moderator bans someone with around 1500 psr then the banned one will quickly register new account and most likely break the rules again and again and again

 P.S. I suggest that some changes will be made soon and this server will be cleared from multi noob accounters and hackers that create new accounts because they have perma ban in most cases map hackers

This was quite a good game too sad it was 4v5 half of it. There can be seen a lot of smoke gangs, wards and excellent play by rexar controling and placing the bird. Some very good teamfights and very intense game overall. Enjoy

Technical support / Pd.Eu bot !

Hello everyone,

concerning the lags today, due to the unexpected above average number of games and map downloads in the past month we have reached our monthly limit of total amount of data transferred. That resulted in our bandwidth being greatly reduced until June 13th.

This means we can not support large number of games without lags hosted on our server in the next four days, so the bot will be closed for everyone except the players that donated or contributed to the community in some other way. If you donated but still can't host please send me a PM with your server nickname. Map downloads will be disabled as well.


Please consider donating to help us keep the server alive, buy bandwidth and avoid this kind of issues happening again.
Thanks to everyone who already donated once again.



According to this post it is said that Pd.Eu will be reopened for hosting on 13th which is today, but unfortunatelly still not up can any admin or moderator give us more updates on this if possible.
