Since i no longer play DotA 1 nor develop the gproxy i release the client here as is in its latest public build.

If this is bad i guess some moderator can delete it.

It is packed with my private packer so needs administrative rights to run - this is to prevent reverse engineering :) if youre a cracker i dare you to try and unpack it.
Because its packed, some shitty antiviruses detect it as "IDontKnowWhatThisIs.SoIWillComplainInBigRedLetters.Win32.A" type of malware.

Here is a browser embedded into warcraft III (with flash ! :D) perfect for ingame youtubeage.

As far as i know it works with xpam gproxy.

WARNING : links that open in a new window WILL open in a new window (and probably crash your game while at it...) so... careful.

this is highly experimental but ive been playing with this running for a while now and never any problems

overlay is triggered (opened/closed) with TILDE ( ~ ) key. yes i know its chicken. no i wont change it. ctr+1 for chick and ok, ok?

MeKillU GProxy Public Alpha


Any feedback you have about MeKillU's Gproxy Public Alpha Release please post in this topic.

If it is a bug report please include you OperatingSystem Version (including service packs etc) and what you did to produce the error.


Setup is minimal. Open gproxy.cfg in notepad and enter your username and password in the correct fields.

run gproxy.exe, thats all. login in game with any account name / password it doesnt matter.

commands :

in channel :

/filter on - filter other users messages. do not show empty !sd and !checkban
/filter off - channel filters off

in game list : ( enter command as game name, press join game, ignore error. command will be executed. )
/filter pd - only show games hosted by playdota.eu.XX
/filter off - show all games.


note :

if you want to join a game by specific gamename and game is private it might show an error at first. just keep clicking join game  if game exists it should work....

its because
GET http://files.playdota.eu/js/jquery/jquery-1.4.3.min.js 404 (Not Found)
GET http://files.playdota.eu/js/jquery/jquery-ui-1.8.5.custom.min.js 404 (Not Found)
access to the whole `files` subdomain (shouldnt this be called `static` now ;D Edit: it is actually o0 ) is Forbidden.



Also you can edit your hosts file, set files.playdota.eu to 127.0.0.1 , download XAMPP and host the missing files yourself but :D

Edit : well additional comment is needed :P what people are saying here, irl everywhere, especially after a recent umm centenary makes me sad at how shallow most of them are and after so much time cant see this truth :)

i would suggest not allowing hosts ban for dropped due to desync.
i know some ppl plug that way but that should be considered a hack and result in an ip/mac ban to ebnet.

last time i waited some 12h to get unban while banmods online,
now i just watched 5 banmods come and go, even read some requests but not solve them...

ppl plz if ur online do something i understand you cant allways be there but if you are do it ....

Edit : and i do not mean to flame or accuse u of anything im just sayin :D dont have anythin else to do since im banned :O

Feedback / gproxy++

i know that this is not a very good moment for additional feature requests,
i also know that migrating gp++ into a re-designed ghost can be a hard job
but it would be cool if gproxy++ was supported ...

i get crashes quite often lately and if i had an option to reconnect i would never have to post an unban request again :O
