Feedback / About the dropped bot until 13th
« on: June 10, 2011, 20:32 »
Some feedback. Here's my thought. I honestly don't believe that the pd.eu staff didn't think that if thousand of players download the dota maps besides custom maps, they'll run out of rope for the internet  or didn't think that more games = more broadband(that was the reason right?).

Therefore i think this is just a mere scam to get some money off a few players. I'm sure lots of players will donate if this thing keeps happening, since they're the only ones that will be able to pub.

So, the only thing i can say is that I'm disappointed, thank you for showing your true face.

Best of,
      Tightrope

Ps. no "go to garena", "go away", stuff like that. feedback should be treated professionally if there's any of that left on the server.

General Discussions / Pd.eu down, any news?
« on: April 14, 2011, 10:28 »
Given the fact that the admins think that we don't notice that the bot is down, as always, users have to ask "how long is it don/why/so on..." Anyone know?

Feedback / Pd.eu=lacks

Pd.eu = 2-10/15/20 admins
pd.eu bots can sustain: 500 games / 80 looby
let's say 50 people join 50 dota games = 500 people just one dota session.
users = more than 2-3 k i suppose.
pd.eu + eurobattle/fawkz... = best free gaming war3 platform.

Pd.eu public relations = HORRIBLE

A professional institute (or one that truly respects the users that KEEP IT WORKING) meets the demands of the users, or at least tries.

These are things I noticed, and suppose are at least partly true.

A ban/unban admin has to meet 100 requests a week, there are about 2-3 that do this. So 300 requests per week. If we suppose in 24 h, there are 1000 games, and from that many games 25% of the people drop. So 250 games/300 is ok. The problem is, in a week 1750, but from those, let's say 50% go on pd.eu.
so 875. So about 35-40% of the requests are seen, and about 20-25% are solved(mh takes a long time, etc.)

I honestly don't agree with this system, i find it flawed and you can never earn someone's respect if you continue this way(not mine at least).

Note: until you get banned and post a unban request that has been bumped every now and then and ignored, pd.eu is ok.

ex here: http://playdota.eu/forum/index.php/topic,56819.0.html (posted 2nd of april, ban expired 4th april)

Note: This is just feedback, i didn't say this as a rage or "ya, f** this, i'm going to garena", probably most of it will be ignored, i'm ok with that.

My point of view is that a flawed system will never last too long, and it would be a shame.
