Technical support / Why not autobanned?

Hello, I noticed:

32:39    (All)    Hyperzer has left the game voluntarily.

and was not auto-banned. I did not notice they forfeited. So I checked game log, and indeed, they did not succeed to forfeit. How come he did not get auto-banned then?

Heya, I liked this feature. Statistics are good and it was not making any problems. Why don't you put it back again? Also statistics in each player's stats page were nice. Only for that I'd suggest to calculate the time for dota and custom maps individually.

Technical support / Lag issues

Hello,

I play dota for years, but that doesn't probably matter. I had 6 months break and when I came back, 3 months ago, I found this community. It was fine for 2 months, but like month ago, I started to have brutal lags.

Actually, it happened in my 2nd game 3 months ago. Then again like 3 times during 2 months. But the last month, the 50% of the games are nearly unplayable. My ping is 50-60 sometime it goes over hundred. Before I had ping 20-40. It's interesting, other players do not complain except for one ore two that have brutal lags as well.

So I think this might be some route issue or something (not even sure about this term). Can somebody look at this? I can send you my IP or ISP information. And little question, where are the servers hosted? Maybe my ISP has problems with that location now or something, because other application over net I use did not start to show any problems.

Why is checkban printing the result to all players?? When I check stats it doesn't right? Like this it is only used for abusing and spamming, I see no good side of that.

Technical support / Stupid bug, someone else experienced that?

Game started, I wrote mode and went to Windows because I always pick lately. I came back it was t-30s. I found out I can not select anything - taverns would be nicest... But I could click buttons of Circle of powet, that has been selected. Luckily game has been rmked (not always happens).

I remember one player claimed same problem but in the middle of game.

Anyone else has experience with this shit? It happened 1st time in 5 years to me So I am lucky. But I think this problem is not so rare.

and on my screenshot you can see bot leaves him in game 3 days after ban (there is he left message, but he was there 2 minutes).

What's wrong?

According to this http://playdota.eu/forum/index.php/topic,25525.0.html , your favourite pain in the arse is here with another post! And I think I should title this thread "WILL YOU PLS PREVENT LEAVING FOR CONNECTION LOSSES

Do you think it is ok if you screw game for other players because YOU are not able to get proper connection? I think it is not. Not that he even is upset by fact he has to request unban, he shouldn't be unbanned at all!

And I am not even talking about liars that unplug on purpose and are being unbanned constantly.

Rules should change about this.

What about:
Maximum no. of internet falls in one week = 1
Maximum no. of internet falls in one month = 3
Maximum no. of internet falls in last 6 months = 10

If you excess, you will be considered as leaver.


I think this would rapidly improve games quality, force players to fix their connection (but, actually, there are no players with bad connection, they all are IMHO lying unpluggers) or to change (or slap) their providers.

Game 2011-01-08 13:19:44 says I am leaver but I left by advice from Eko because more than 40% voted to remake. I did according rules.

Today I created game, during pick one of the player lagged out.

7/9 players voted to rmk, only two tards did not. I told them to read rules and that they will be reported for that. After nervous few minutes one team mate kickafk me (I did not pick at all). I wanted to report those 2 who violated rules, but I can't find the game in my stats...

-Why?
