but its easy and make good FX and thanks this focal point is on face so its nice to look at it, good job
but try to take it and do more some flow filtering and trying add some stuff, that can be out-of-focus like dust, particles some random fxs etc. just play with it ;)
second also great render so try to implement it to BG make flow so its doesnt look like stamp with white edges on BG and aslo play with it
overall good step to GFX world and add more stuff and GFX icon is yours ;)

you made it ofc but theres sometimes problem with ripping cause some ppl just adjust some already made sig or graphic and use them as few layers, add some FXs filters glow etc and viola new cool art ;)
but I dont wanna its ok ;)

nicely and slowly to top ;) if you will keep your creation up and give here more cool stuff that is not just some random novice barks so you will get next one fast, everybody got novice first ;)

Sigs arnt bad, novice ones, but not bad... practise makes perfection :P... theyre simple... try to experiment more... also tutorials... good for start... but thats just so typical to say :P
second lp is not bad... but thers no actual focal... I suppose that text should be a focal but, its not rly sharp or clean......
just practise... dont give up on GFX!! (: (for any advices or help pm me, or add to msn)

@Dr.K there is focal point in Rikimaru signature and it is actually his face ;D
and for playdota.eu wallpaper i tried to make it like 3D, light from the top, and lights bellow text but the light is not visible because of 2 many colors. i even made custom diamond brush for that wallpaper :D i deserve Pro GFX! 8)

Rofl dude, we said it looks good but not good enough to be first thing seen when you come to PD forum, and our current banner is here from beginning.

It looks nice but you should write playdota.eu with some more bright color so it's more visible. So that text playdota.eu is first thing you see when you see the pic, not some random colors :)

Those dots are visible too much but overall it looks cool
yy if you use dynamic of brush to have % opacity it will looks great or just manually adjust opacity of those with erase tool, so from center to edge they will fade ;)

I also have a suggestion for u :P.. if u accept critics :P
when u want to make ur work more apealing, its not all about those bright nice colors...
its more about composition, positioning of ur objects...
Focal on center, empty edges = bad and booring :P
but keep practise, uve got some nice effects there...

I can suggest u that u use a simple fonts... thats the best way... simple font with nice blending and color...
also if u dont already use it... in your photoshop go to window>character , there u can setup ur font nicely... (space betwen letters, height... ) play around with it, and ull see ull get much better stuff...
for eg, try simple arial font, maybe bolded and reduce spacing betwen letters... it almost always looks good (: ...

Depth on left (at shoulder ) is messed up , left side doesnt match right so flow is f**ed up , experiment with fonts and maybe add them closer to focal .
Other thing is Light source , you see light in his back ,and light falls on his face.
Way away from Advanced. Activity is good thing , but you need to deserve rank.

@icypig you are totally right about light source, i didnt pay attention(which i will in future), the "thing on his back" is not suppose to be a light source but it looks so, and yeah i agree i messed up messi, but will fix it.
thats why i dont do signatures :o but i will try for Advanced Icon. thx everybody for their honest advices and judges!

"text" or "wallpapers" are easier than signatureing for sure...
in siganture you need to cut render to fit in so small space (400x120) and than you need to find focal, then blur everything else or any other effect that will distract people from background and "make" them look at focal... etc
i said i will try to improve, tutorials and tutorials, np!

Dear GFX User
Because we will RELAUNCH our ladder soon and to make sure we add all points you deserve and dont forget everything, we will LOCK Every showroom!
So what do you have to do?
- Make sure you have EACH signature or work you made saved on your computer.
- When the New showroom section is open, open a new topic for your showroom.
- Add all signatures/works you want to be judged at for the ladder.
- Once you've added everything, PM me and I will judge your works(with another gfx mod).
- We will post the amount of points you will get at that point for your showroom.
That's all for now, if you have ANY questions feel free to ask them in this topic!
