I can't see the pic, but techies' first skill deals physical damage.
His suicide skill damage is reduced by magic resistance and armor.

Thats techies ulti.
The point is if techies places couple of bombs as he usualy do after 6lvl and when I turn on blademail, is he get returned dmg wherever he is on the map.

description from playdota.com:
Damage Return
Returns any damage you take (after reductions) to the unit that dealt the damage (you still take the damage as well)

So magical dmg also?

Then maybe yes, blademail reduces magical damage.
But if you want something against techies' ult, buy BKB.

it would be stupid   since techies got lowest hp  couple mines on blademail would kill him

Thats what i talking about.
For example you play POWER-HP hero like roof, you place wards in safe distance from towers wich are invisible not like dust after use. You see bombs afront of tower you want to push with your team. Opposite team dont def so hard becouse they know that theres bombs and you cant pass them freely. So you go forward, step on the bomb and wait for techies reaction, turn blademail on. You can be sure that techies will detonate these bombs.
My question is: will techies suffer dmg from dmg return wherever he is on the map?
Actualy same thing should work with centaur ability but is highlited on description that is only physical

Notes

• Damage type: physical
• Return causes damage when the enemy begins an attack, not when their attack hits.
• This ability damages anything that attacks the Warchief, including towers.

There's no description for blademail what kind of dmg it will return. I know that physical for sure...

hm... i think techie will get damage where ever he is on the map
and centaurs ability isnt magical, it is physical cuz it does not require mana to use it...

it will be best to just test techie and blade mail to be sure...

and if u attack mines they detonate automatically so u dont need to w8 for techie to activate them.,..

Techies will get the damage where ever he is, but you will die also. That is why i buy BKB.

and for the  blademail: i know  that blademail returns lunas ulty so i think that will retrun techies ulty too.

Blademail returns pure damage to enemy after resistance and armor calculations.

And yes blademail kills techies if u step on mined runes with it.
Ulti as well.

Remote mines don't detonate when u destroy them.

One of my clanmates the other day ran over mines and remotes with blademail on and grave...shit was funny.
Then i saw a centaur with pipe shell and blademail on with 400 hp and lina did an aga laguna 1K+ dam to cent and she died lol.

So question solved. (http://www.playdota.com/img/items/114/thumb.jpg) Blademail returns ANY kind of dmg.
Whats about (http://www.playdota.com/img/hero/128/character.gif) ancient ulti?

Ice Blast (http://www.playdota.com/img/hero/128/skill-3.jpg)

    * Ability Type: Active
    * Targeting Type: Point
    * Ability Hotkey: T

Ancient Apparition projects his presence out to make way for a powerful ripple of hailstone and dark magic. Once cast, it can release the spell to strike targets within the area of where his presence was upon release. It will deal damage to enemy units and apply a frostbite curse on them where their health regeneration will be frozen and will shatter if they fall close enough to death. This spell has global range depending on how long you wait for the projections to move. Frostbitten units will take minor damage over time.

    * 1
    * 100
    * 44
    * Global
    * *
    * 8 seconds HP freeze.
    * Enemy Units.
    * 250 Damage, 12.5 DoT, instant kill if damage suffered below 10% HP.

    * 2
    * 125
    * 32
    * Global
    * *
    * 9 seconds HP freeze.
    * Enemy Units.
    * 350 Damage, 20 DoT, instant kill if damage suffered below 11% HP,

    * 3
    * 150
    * 20
    * Global
    * *
    * 10 seconds HP freeze.
    * Enemy Units.
    * 450 Damage, 32 DoT, instant kill if damage suffered below 12% HP

Notes

• Damage type: magic
• *The area of effect for the damage is 225+50*TimeTraveled capped at 1000, The area of effect for HP freeze is 275 along the path of the second projectile and upon the final strike area.
• First projectile has a 1500 movespeed, stops when the caster dies or casts the second part of the skill
• First projectile clears fog in a 500 radius circle at it's end.
• When a hero dies under the threshold the kill is granted to Kaldr.
Fatal damage is 100000000 physical and clears all debuffs prior damaging.
• The instant kill does not work on Illusions or Meepo clones.
• HP freeze prevents most kinds of healing including those from skills or items.
• The frozen buff can be purged, and the shatter damage will not kill you if you are affected by Shallow Grave.

Question is what happend in the case when (http://www.playdota.com/img/hero/128/icon.jpg) ancient who have full HP(no matter how much), kill hero with less than 10% hp with (http://www.playdota.com/img/items/114/thumb.jpg) blademail on?

I think YES. because one time (time ago) i died being Techies, and when I asked why, answer was: blademail ^^

(8 remote mines).

You see. The point is much easier to predict that you gonna die from Ancient Iceblast ulti.
When you get hit on red HP by his Iceblast simply you can switch on Blademail and send massive dmg to Ancient wherever he is on the map :)
When you die, he dont have any chance to survive. Not like Techies - he may have like 2k-2,5k HP and survive his bombs.

@ resor : same thing I wondered about axe's ulti and dmg return :D. I'm pretty sure it's instant kill of axe. Haven't tried it yet, will update afterwards.

Never! Culling Blade removes all buffs from the target before killing it.
