You needed bkb, more hp, some evasion, more damage.
Skadi is very bad on qop compared to other items, skadi is good mostly on autoattack carries, qop isn't one of them.

I played some qop game here recently: http://dota.eurobattle.net/la/forum/index.php?action=gameinfo;sa=game;gid=5925026

Compare item effectiveness, and you'll see a huge difference. Itemization is very important.
