One of the greatest Dota 2 events is about to start in two days. From 18th to 21st October 2012 theSLTV Star Series finals will take place at the Cyber Sport Arena in Kiev, Ukraine. Players from all over Europe will engage in battle for the main prize of $15,000.

The seven competing team will be divided into two groups. Moscow Five's and Empire's captains will choose their opponents sequentially. The group stage will be played in "best of two" matches (if a tie happens, both team will be awarded one point each), the group finals in "single elimination", the semi-finals in "best of three" and the grand final in "best of five" mode.

They were good in initial ladder phase.. Na'vi overrated !

It's not as much Na'Vi overrated as other teams not being too stable.

Though true that they might slip up as they tend to go for trollpicks when facing weaker opponent... Which might simply turn out stronger than expected.

I'm curious how will mouz do, solely because they are about to change sponsor and they've got singsing (http://youtube.com/watch?v=oWsD8D9bRSY).

imo na'vi can win, those guys are crazy, they always finds another way...
but they pissed me off going with lets say same picks all the time, people found way to counter them, iG did in International...
but anyway i expect some crazy moves from dendi + puppey

Good tourney for EU scene and first LAN with new patch, already seeing some nice picks. As for favorites, Empire is the strongest at this moment, I don't think anyone besides Na'Vi can take them down.
Also, mouz is not mouz anyomore  ;D (they lost the sponsorship, they were sent by GD studio, I think they even changed their name to GD studio B team or something like that).

Looks like Na'Vi got this. Dendi kept the game for them.

6.75b shifted meta towards heavy ganking/teamfighting (thinking of AoE gold/exp buff... quite a massive buff) with carry farming his ass off it, which Na'Vi seems to be really comfortable with.

not really, every1 is excited of how dendi is playing.. im too, i love watching him, for me he's one of the best players, but what i wanted to say : he's playin hero that needs to show excitement, he's fearless and he's likely to dive in and do some good moves that makes people say "woah" ...
But if u watched all their games, u can clearly see reason of why dendi is fearless..
Cuz puppey is always behind him.. :)
I noticed that thing in most of their games... Puppey is some kind of dendis guardian angel lol :D

And thats how Na'Vi play, no actual plan, just go gang bang enemies and make them lose their nerves ;)
