well you use backwards arrow when  someone is chasing you...

but mirana has leap / ulty and backwards arrow like i said it can't be that accurate to hit enemy , only if he close enough :)

You prolly don't need forcestaff to throw backwards arrow, leap is enough.

IIRC it's also possible to do a "backwards" burrowstrike (as weird as it sounds) by casting it on your portrait, though it's not very useful as it stuns only at less than melee range + some 300ish on right side without displacing you, better off burrowing trough your target and changing direction or trough cliff, both usually better for escaping.
