We have really many r****** on this server and in 80% of games a pause is not possible, why ? because always they say : GO AFK I****, dont pause ffs , etc ... . So i remembered the system from dotalicous, and its like: every user has the right to pause the game 1 or 2 times with the command !pause for ~30 or 1 min, if he comes back eariler he can write !resume and the game will continue. Alaways when someone writes !pause the host (bot will force him to write that (like !ping / !sd / !from / etc ... ) ) will write in all chat :
Game will be paused in : 5

If the user writes !resume the host ( bot will force him again ) will write Player <playername> resums his pause, game will be resumed in 5

if he dont write !unpause and he let the pause end by timer the bot will write in the last 10 seconds:

while the bot paused the game NO ONE, really no one can resume it. I think you could add the same code for that as for gproxy ( but i m not expert so maybe i m not right :P )

3rd time 10 days ban
4th time 15 days - 20 - 25 ...

Yea. Plus you said every user can pause game 30 sec - 60 sec, so imagine that loosing team (retos or noobs) pausing game one by one and game would be stopped for 2.5 - 5 minutes... I think 95% of users will abuse it.
Conclusion: Bad idea.

True... It would be nice command if players wouldn't abuse it, but they would. So there should be rule about abusing that, like Melissa said. It's a good idea.

Imo it it would be good if people weren't retards. Having opportunity to pause the game for 30 secs would be great for me. Sometimes there is some1 at doors etc.
But people are retarded so I agree with night^^stalker.

Making rules would just lower tha abuse of it by 10%. Leaving is bannable right? How many leavers do u have in every game? How often ppl leave/dc? Rules dont change it entirely.

great idea but rule against abusing is condition, and if it will be big ban and then growing higher to very long ban everybody change their minds to abuse it ;) it wont be worthy of abusing it

another option ;) like in sport as time off you can take another after some time...

for me its not such bad idea,i wrote topic about similiar situation,cause we almost lose of their unpause after we did pause,so for me there should be some changes in that pause/unpause

about this abuse, i m sure only 10% of players will abuse it. Why ? Because if they write !pause 60 sec they must wait too = fail = no abuse

about it making limit team can use it only once per 5 min so 1 pause 1 min others need too wait 5 min

I think it would work but there must be many rules specified. How much one team can use it or using it more than twice by one team will not let them use it any more. With many games i play i haven't seem that game have to be paused more than twice.

if this were a civilized community, pause would've worked anyway, u can't talk to most of the players 'cause they're braindead.

Warns/bans r a good solution to avoid abusing it (like spam no?)
Above all, if u dont try how can u be sure all ppl will spam it?

Besides, i don't think that is a bad idea but still if you want pause command it should be possible to be given or taken away by the host, just like !pause on all, pause is on to all players, but if someone abuse it just !pause off "playername" or !pause off all.

yea....but what if a scourge players want pause,but host doesn't...then what?

you make a point is hard to make everyone happy:P You can host like "dota ap eu pros !pause on", or !votepause on.

Its better that every team has 1 or 2 pause in the game of 1 min(if 2,secon can not be within 10-15 min mark after the first),and it can't be unpaused...so there can't be spams or abuses
And what is 3-4 min(if used) in DoTA of 60 min

still if it is per team, some can use all pauses at once and it's the same old story... the dilema... :S if people used "good sense" more often it could be much easier..

In normal mode games where are more reasonable and experienced players you can just simply ask them to wait for a while, Im sure they will understand. In easy modes it doesnt matter if you miss 30-60 seconds of the game. And I believe you never play easy modes huh?
So I dont see any reason for this command.
