Title: GProxy ( Reconnection Tool )

Please watch the video before you do anything

GProxy ++ stefos007 for eurobattle.net

GProxy wont work if u haven´t the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) & Net Framework 3.5
<clickme> (#post_ccc) to Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
<clickme> (#post_ccc2) to Download Net Framework 3.5

NOTE: If you run the Gateways.reg it will override your servers to <clickme> (#post_clickme), after u runned the Gatewys.reg you have to rename the tmp.gproxy.cfg to gproxy.cfg , if u dont do it the gproxy will auto override your servers to : <clickme> (#post_clickme2)
If you dont want to lose ur servers read "How to set up stefos GProxy 2 & 3"- <clickme> (#post_howtogpr) OR read the readme

If you want to remove the sounds like slap, whisper and ... just remove the sound folder

GProxy wont reconnect you if you shutdown your wc3 ( You get an error, your pc restars or you leave the game )

There are 4 ways to set up GProxy

1

1. Open the Gateways.reg file *
2. Rename the tmp.GProxy.cfg to GProxy.cfg ( if you dont do it it will override your server to <clickme> (#post_clickme2) )
3. Open GProxy.exe
4. Open euroloader
5. Select server: Eurobattle.net ( GProxy ON )

*( If you open the Gatewys.reg file it will override your servers to <clickme> (#post_clickme2) )


2

1. Open Gateway <clickme> (#post_gatewyedit) editor and add IP : localhost , Name : <Eurobattle.net ( GProxy ON )> , Zone : <your-time-zone>
2. Rename the tmp.GProxy.cfg to GProxy.cfg ( if you dont do it it will override your servers to <clickme> (#post_clickme2) )
2. Open GProxy
3. Open euroloader
4. Select server: Eurobattle.net ( GProxy ON )

1. Start > Run > regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Blizzard Entertainment > Warcraft III > Battle.net Gateways
1st line : IP ( localhost )
2nd line : Zone ( <yourzone )
3rd line : Name ( <Eurobattle.net ( GProxy ON )

So if my conn went down, i can use gproxy and connect again in that same game?
But will i be able to connect if "tard" host banned me for lost conn?

OK, but do i have to turn on gproxy b4 i begin a game?
And when i got dc, then i reconect and go to Battle.net or Local Area Network(like dragoljub showed) ???
Where and how do i find the game, the one i played 2 mins ago?

u have to run gproxy before u start wc3 >.<

with stefos´s gproxy :

open stefos gproxy and play ( if u get dc it will autoreconnect )

for warlock´s gproxy :
u have to edit the cfg , start it , open wc3 , local are networks and serach the game there , ( when u lose connection it will autoreconnect )

I have a question about this software. I have Dota Toolkit 3.2 (by Crisgon) software, and use it long time, now its essential for me. But it has some interference with Gproxy. In normal case i guess ppl run Gproxy first, then type /start in it, and this way opens WC3. But for me running wc3 is open Toolkit first, then go launch icon and so starts game. I tried to run first gproxy, then not type start, just leave that, and after it run Toolkit + launch WC3, but this way, when me entered BNET in game, gproxy showed in its window disconnected, so i guess it couldnt be used.

I know its just test period for Gproxy, but i would appreciate any help or INFO or solution using both program together and fix this interference.  (Gproxy - DotaToolKit)

Yeah the toolkit version is same, but the way i join to eurobattle.net pvpgn server is, that i have an euroloader.exe file, and i must run that to be able to join europe pvpgn. If i just start game with the way on the video shown (clickin tft icon in toolkit) i cannot join to Bnet.

Idea now?

Not best xDDD

1. DL normal gproxy , ( GProxy++ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ke35k-sThs#ws) )
2. open Dota tool kit
3. open gproxy
4. press any button in gproxy cmd
5. open wc3 via dota tool kit
6. click on local area network
7. alt + tab , and write in gproxy cmd /public on
8. alt + tab wc3 back and u ll see the wc3 games hosted on server.eurobattle.net ( if u entered in ghost cfg server : server.eurobattle.net )


you dont have to click on bnet when u use gproxy

Stefos made a small change to his gproxy, so it wouldn't delete your gateways anymore. But you would have to add the gproxy yourself. For your convenience I exported my gateway reg file that includes, the defualt gateways, fawkz.com, eurobattle.net, and the gproxy one that you would need to use, in the below attachment.
 
All you need to do is extract the files, load the .reg file, open the gproxy.exe, open your euroloader, and your set to go. Just continue as you normally would.
Edit: Fixed eurobattle.net .reg entry as well.
Edit: Click on the 3rd stefos download link, to have the lastest version. Follow the instructions stated above.

I added new video (stefos gproxy new ) , edited inks gateways , ( eurobattle.net one position down , edited the gateway name Gproxy to EurobattleNet Gproxy  ) and added rapidshare + mediafire links

(the server eurobattle.net didnt work bcs u couldnt put the : "server" before eurobattle.net (it doesnt allow in BNetGatewayEditor ) so i changed it in regedit , if someone has any problem with opening eurobattle.net without gproxy write me a pm )

Thx for the help dragoljub, it seems working now. I couldnt test it yet cause bots were offline + my net disconnects so rare, but i think is ok NOW and it is working next to toolkit. Gj.

I think Gproxy useless for me...today i got dc my modem turned off and my modem needs at least 1 min to reconnect..
after 30 sec passed they dropped me....I think people don't know about Gproxy they think i will Dc or something so what is Gproxy for?

@I agree that many players haven't hear for gproxy but fuck them.Dl it for yourself and atleast you wont get banned.

Yesteryday i tried one game with gproxy and it seems to make it lag a bit(like FPS vas much lover than usual, sometimes VERY low) i will try some more games to confirm it. I hope my computer is not too slow for gproxy:D:D

Gues it was something else, now tested with 3 more games no lag:) Wonderful tool gproxy.

Only this bothers my if you get droped no ban? If thats true its just a hole calling to be abused.

And one more thing, what happens if he does !synclimit 100000000 ? You come back after one minute but are 100000000 packets short it drops you i gues?...

if someone using gproxy and he is on reconnecting and host writes !synclimit max , the game will continue and he will "reconnect"

i have some problems with this file msvrc100.dll
i know has something to do with visual c++ i saw it on the forum but im not sure where i saw those links i tried search but didnt help,
so if anyone knows those links to install visual c++ please help!!

I had the x64 package, on my 64 bit laptop. Had to install the 32 bit one to get it to work. Don't know why..

The program is being updated daily/weekly, Stefos is perfecting it. So make sure you download it from this (http://stefos007.no-ip.org/gproxy.zip) link. Ask Stefos for any troubleshooting. It is his own program.

so reconnection works but its human mistake and you have to right to make ban request about kicking even if you could reconnect its not gproxy fault  ;)
hard punishment against these ppl that cant w8 max.2-3 min to dropped player and they know that he is able to reconnect to 3 min after this time they know that he cant or is leaver always is problem between chair and keyboard not in computer for 99,9%

But computer is there to stop humans from making mistakes:P Well i played 19 games and already gproxy saved me once and once it saved whole sentinel team(they on LAN). But there was also third time, where idiots dropped one. Prolonging drop to 120sec would rock!

WTH, does it run like a servise? I play game, d/c happens and it will attempt to reconnect? Will it reconnect if my PC reboots for some un-known reason (like moments ago, and now I have 4 days ban... great...).
Videos... show us this tool in action not the setup stuff. Run game, kill w3, reconnect.
I really don't get it :S

I installed everything... Forwarded ports etc...
But... When I test gproxy on non-ladder game it reconects but after few sec I loose connection :S
Here is how approximately Gproxy log looks like...

everything normal...

And when i loose connection this happens...

he tries to connect...
connects...
[GPROXY]reconnected to remote server
----It reconnects and i can play for 10 seconds... AND THEN :S----
[GPROXY]rejected by remote server: player not found in any running games
[GPROXY]local player disconnected
----GAME STOPS---

I like the old pd.eu system better without forcing players use gproxy, I just downloaded it and I see GProxy in my gateway, and when i click connect it aint work so I play with regular bnet gateway. Then in one day I got 2 disconnections and even though I was still online on eurobattle.net, so after I got dced I got in channel then i got banned lol.

I am starting to think after i dled installed this gproxy may somehow screw up my connection or what.....

u have to run gproxy before you start wc3...

Well i recomend gproxy be integrated in euroloader so in some time, when they decide to upgrade to new patch and people will need to reinstall euroloader almost everyone will have it:)

so you installed euroloader + gproxy ? if yes go
controll panels , add or remove programms, uninstall EUROBATTLE
when u did that install 1.24e euroloader or install 1.24e loader
Euroloader- you have to install iz

Also I gotto change the port to 6112, my modem was set up for 6112-6119. Gproxy's defauls is 6125.
I never lag I always get the lowest pings its fine.

My problem is only "GPROXY" appears in gateways ( no ON-OFF ). Whatever I choose in the game list it always fails as " game is full or the bla bla bla "

i happens because you play alone and the bot will disconnect if only one player is in the game...
it also happens if the game is 5v5 but 9 people leave then after a min or so you will get disconnected to stop abuse.
