The thing is vladimir is the worst item in dota.. people used to make first item vlad thats worst item choice overall. Moreover people in pubs belive vladimir gives them super powers even bigger than satanic :D
In international games venge with vlad is nothing special. But mort with vladimir is just rotfl.

Do u know xboct ? the carry player of the team who won the last years international and this years 2. check out his build for PA if u like. i am sure this guy is 100x better then you.

I'm also pretty sure he's the weakest link in Na'Vi (puppey at least has brain for drafting), and almost every single team had better carry player there.
Aaaaaaaalso I'm pretty sure that statements like "X item on Y hero is pro cause Z player used it in competetive game once" are naive, at very least.

Well I know only one thing, Ive played in high ranking games where tactic counts not kills... you can be loosing game but get 1 good teamfight and make finall push.
Back to coveration. True is that not carry wins game, team wins.. or should I say his supports wins game for carry.

u are right. But what i wanna say is i start early with RoB so completing that to vlads always seems better.
ps. i am not always making vlads with RoB.

More of an individual preference, but I'd rather go early RoB into Aquila, and get Domi because of
a) ancient stacking - godlike farming if you get battlefury along with that
b) Satanic later on - simply stronger late game
Vlads is such a support item, only two exceptions include Lycan and Ursa. But hey, if you're aiming for early Desolator (which has it's uses), then why not, might folow with vlads then.

Vlad might seem good at early game - but if you figure out you can get dominator for that money you will see that in late game vlad will only take important bag please meanwhile dominator can be converted into satanic - the core mort item.

That even makes stacking easier, because peope are not even paying attention. You just dominate that creep, hotkey it, and each minute spend 3-5 seconds using that creep to stack. Later join the party with battlefury, and get 1,5k gold on instant. If not more.
I wouldn't say it's still laning if you have vlads done. But even if, vlad pushes your lane, which doesn't really help you lasthit better. Neither does autoattack.

Armor's indentical, lifesteal barely differs, hp regen is pretty neglible past laning phase, and helmet's damage bonus is better unless you're past 20 level.
We're left with Dominate + satanic upgrade vs mana regen and having above effects in AoE around you. I'd take the former one, granted better farming capability and lategame upgrade. Unless situation call otherwise (for example, you somehow ended as add-on to 4 man pushing team).

There are few item builds on mortred , its hard to say which one is best.
First one is most common one in 'skilled' games :
PT , basil/poorman's shield / stick / battle fury ( or rush midas then fury) , and later Helm of dominator/bkb/mkb
Second one is not used so often, but it can work as div.ide mentioned:
pt basil stick > vlads > desolator > bkb etc
And third one, most underrated one :
Phase, stick/poorman's shield , (vanguard) , yasha , basher > abyssal / bkb
It all depends on your game and your goal in it, if you want mass farm you choose 1st build, if u want to get fast towers with your team and still be useful late, you get 2nd , and if you dont have AoE potential in your team and you are 'one-by-one' killers, 3rd build rapes hardcore.

i dont agree with that. u need to play 8-10 hours per day for that or need to be superb nerd. guides are usefull and helps u to improve ur gameplay

I prefer slow item build on Mortred. He is my favourite hero.
I start with shield + 150(agi) + tango
I complete poorman's and pt then domi then aquila.
After those go straight for basher it works very well on mort.
After bash you can feel free to get anything ( MKB, BF , Battlefury or even Cuirass)

evasion of butterfly doesnt stack with mort evasion i think you already know that right goodguy? so it would be a waste of gold to buy it.. there are many items that would be much better on mort than butterfly but it depends on the game though..

It depends what you want to build...The "right" thing is when you recognize good item being in your inventory.

Phase Boots (Because of bonus dmg)
Battlefurry(Because of a cleave,better farm,better crit)
Monkey King Bar (Only if playing against a dodging heroes)
Satanic (WIN)

U can't always build same items on mortred or any other hero, everything depends against who ur playing with.

xD , under phase you cant crit and you need atack speed on start so i go for normal boost gloves and boots of elivenskin , then i go perservance and fast battle fury , then if too many nukers against me i go for bkb then dominator if not then dominator , bkb , after this you are almost unstopable but yet you can make bm , and go for abusial blade , oor divine it depends on the strengt of my enemies :D

This little kido asked a question and all u do is talk about ur pro builds and act like a bunch of retards fucking badasses i assume all of u are pro gamers,which reading ur coments dosent show that,listen mort is a imba carry hero which can farm easly on lane and can get few kills or assists in the proces,the bracer thing is a bit noobish u can skip it or make it a lot sooner,second the items u are about to make u are making them against who u are playing,my point is u cant allways have +84329904 dmg,dps items are good but u need mybe bkb or someting that fits,also u could skip the helm of dominator replacing it yust with the mask of death(900 gold) the lifesteal is the same 15%...try not to die first 20mins farm with culling blade and dagger u could use basilus as nice bost at the begining... culing blade 225 ring of protection 175 1 slave and 3 tangos,or u can arm your self with culing and branches tangos,,,u could use magic stick it would come in handy like it comes in 70% of heros...double stacking will come in handy so dont forget to use it...and 1 tip u cant farm every game like its natural for u to have all those expensive items becouse some times other team yust wont let u...so i would say the main thing for u is to survive and learn to farm smart,to be able to do that is having good map awernes for the pub games that is called(MH) ;D ;D

It's based on what opponent has...If the opponent has magicks, u do BKB if they doesn't u go for satanic/heart or vanguard early game...U can't do Dagon on mortred where is the point?
