Your intellectual level can't seem to figure out I'm still playing Dota here from time to time. Guess your massive ego makes you overlook a thing or two.
Here's a little lesson in Dotaology for you kid:
Transition from Warcraft patch 1.25 to 1.26 crippled almost every Dota 1 community once 1.26 was released. People refused to switch to 1.26 cause "it wasn't populated enough" and "it made no sense to switch". 1.26 prevailed over time.
Once it was clear that Icefrog won't be releasing any further Dota 1 versions, Dracol1ch took over and released 6.85. People didn't want to switch because "it wasn't Icefrog's official version" and "it didn't make sense to switch". 6.85 prevailed and eventually substituted 6.83 on almost all communities.
Funny thing about these scenarions - in both cases people had hidden agendas behind their excuses. People just don't wanna get out of their comfort zones, and then claim that new versions are shittier cause of bad balance changes. News flash - all versions have balance issues. I can name the most significant ones from 6.70 to 6.90 but that would just spam the topic, and you probably wouldn't follow up anyway.
Oh, and before you even begin talking shit about balance changes and improvements, keep in mind that some of us started playing Dota on Eul's version. We've seen the true meaning of word "imbalanced" and adapted to far more changes over the years.
If people shared your mentality every time, we'd probably still be playing 6.83. Because "why bother changing something that works". Did I overlook your intelectual superiority here or?

A friendly advice - try and ask yourself why is this something you want to push through by all means. Why do you care so much about this? The way you handle this topic is kinda sus to me, I smell a lot of subjective bullshit.

Imagine running a Dota 1 community during the time when three different Warcraft patches are active, still caring enough to try and make the best choices and compromises for the sake of community, and ending up with these kind of topics on an almost weekly basis and people asking you: "Why do you run this server man?" The fuck is wrong with some of you guys...
Anyway, TL:DR, the point is, the whining was the same when 6.85 was out, as well as when 6.89 was out, and here we go again on 7.00. Perhaps the best thing some of you guys can do is switch to GameRanger, those peeps choose not to evolve and keep playing 6.83, sounds like a fucking dream for some of you guys.
I don't even play 7.00 and even I agree that it's better to switch to it, simply cause things have to progress in order for improvement to happen. Or I guess you can do what Bnet peeps are doing, and play versions like Dota 6.85k NE15 v6. The perks of patching up a single Dota version are real...
