i cant load v7.00e4. What am I doing wrong? I can load other maps.

To host v7 you need to do the command:
/w la-dota !privobs whatevernameyouwant
After you join your own host !pub it to make it public
I know, bullshit, the high staff decided for 6.9 to be the main map cuz of noobs who are incapable to adapt

Btw, after you host it with that command, you will not see it in the list, you have to manually search for it

also there is new version published one month ago is 7.00e6 so if you wanna update it, it fix some bugs.

Map will be swapped next season (a month and 3/4 from now).

Well Cen I hope you won't put only 7.00 free for all, I mean system with 6.90 and 7.00 for who want is better. There are much players don't like 7.00 and I'm one of them... I will unistall game with perma 7.00, I won't play that map, I wish 6.85k

Dota2 v7 lost, its not popular map. Every time I go for game there are 2-3 games with v6.9 map and 1 or huge zer0 games with v7 map. Give them /w la-dota7map !pub or something like that, no reason to punish 70-80% players.
Not hard to see which map is more popular, swap will mean hard time for dota1 players. Version 7 is not dota. @cen

Based on your wrotes, i assume you are a very narrow mind person, as i see in the ladder games, on the first page there are 16 v6 and 14 v7 (capture in attachment), besides, there are so many people that doesn't even know how to host v7 (just like the author of this topic), if the maps were reversed, the number of v7 games would greatly improve. Try to make your statements objectively, it's useless if you throw balloons without filling 'em with something.

Well, @cen , it's your decision since you are the owner and maintainer of this place, whatever happens, people will always find reasons to complain, but, at this point, this place stagnates and will extremely degrade if nothing new happen.

I agree that its good idea to make 7.00 default map and 6.9 as secondary.
But i think there should be discrete command for it, not !privobs but something like !altpub or !oldpub. Since the maps will be swapped next season i think its good time to make people used to a new command

I agree that situation with commands is not ideal. I will try to add dedicated commands by the end of this year so we don't need to use privobs anymore. Maybe we can make aliases like !pub7 and !pub6, that would make it clean.
Games right now seem to be roughly 50/50 so I agree keeping both maps for now seems fair.
