Streaming / Fat DotA & more

As some already know, i've started a YouTube channel and decided to finally create a topic here.

I'm pretty new at recording and editing, but i'm trying to improve with every new video i upload. I record live gameplay with OBS and replays with Fraps.

Planned features:
 - DotA Mythbusters?
 - Lagabuse top weakly?
 - Compressed games: teamfights and major events only?
 - (x) Properly animated and sounded end screen
 - (x) 2 audio tracks (game and music separately)
 - (x) Better quality (i don't have a gpu, so i'm experimenting with various OBS settings)
 - (x) Cleaner editing (Trying out various editors)

If you got any feedback, feel free to post it. Suggestions (programs, techniques, music, logos, channel design) are welcome.

Special thanks to Salih and Deer for answering my rather annoying questions and helping me setting up my OBS.

The channel mainly focuses on my DotA gameplay on lagabuse.com (and trust me, there are thousands of funny/weird/pro moments to be posted) and also Overwatch. I plan to post my new videos here, so stay tuned!

Game logs are really messy because of it and it definitely wasn't here in last version. Looking forward for clean game logs again for better QoL

Recently watched a movie called IT about an evil clown. Pretty scary sometimes but a lot of boring moments too. For example, all these kids story seems unnecessary.

Seems very well addressed to me. Let me tell you what happened: yurnero had lag and died then centaur was writing to HIM because he killed him and WHILE WRITING went under our tower where i killed him. Then he chatted to ME.

But well he was in the opposite team so i suppose the report doesn't count. I mean whats the point to punish someone who ruined game if nobody from his team cared to report.

And little feedback, i saw similar situations a lot and people just don't report because they think that nobody will solve their request (like here you can see 2 weeks old request and nobody solves)

There will be none. You guys overstepped your authority for the last time. For now it is only about who will take the blame for it. So here a chance for you to explain the situation and/or punish the one who is responsible for this.

First of all, that was rude, clossing the topic, not giving me the chance to reply, this annoys me very much, also deleting my on-topic argumentative ,,complains" tells me how much you guys care.

I agree, these things should be crystal transparent. By closing topics you just show everybody that you are deadly afraid to discuss your own mistakes with the public. I also think that some people among you don't understand the point of moderation: moderators/admins are here to assist the players, make their time here more enjoyable and not sit on the throne as kings and ban or silence everybody they don't like.


1. My lost access to staff chat

As for now it still hasn't been restored, neither i was presented with a reason for removal. To remind you, i was moderator here for a long time and invested a lot of effort in this place, including reorganizing the very staff chat you are now hiding from me.


2. About kyoo

From what i understood he was demoted for abusing bans but i think the real reason was his relations with particular "high staff members". I didn't see a single time in past that someone was demoted for abusing ban, it was always warning, then bot access removal, then demotion - it is stated in the private rules for moderators (even if we assume he really did abuse which should be proven first obviously). Seeing that he is demoted AND his account deleted shows pretty clear the real reason behind it and WHO exactly is to blame.


3. Deynro's post deletion.

I don't see how it is justified to delete someone's posts for nothing. Did he break any rules in these posts for them to be deleted? I don't think so. Rather he posted something that particular "admins" didn't like - cases of which i already witnessed here.


@jeandarc  following your words, anyone can be demoted, no matter what rank he has and speaking from my knowledge of this "system" it is in your power to do so (no matter what others might say and how sneaky they try to be). I want you to check the above cases (all of the above actions are recorded and can be viewed by you) and show the community that the staff isn't completely rotten yet.

Funny, i mentioned that some permissions are set wrong and now i dont have access to staff chat anymore.

Well, im not really interested to read how you show kyoo and overdose who is da bauss, its more about principle.
 
I just made this post to tell what will happen: I will check the forum tomorrow and i will have access to staff chat and permissions set properly (which means i won't be able to post/or see notes for moderators but will be able to post and read normal stuff in staff chat like any other ex moderator).

I though that after i retire things will improve but as i can see you fucked everything up.

This is the most pathethic display and double facing: year ago you demoted akuma and agent for "sabotaging" lagabuse and now you are doing the same by retiring 1 after another. I honestly regret spending tons of my time here trying to improve this place for the likes of you.

Back in time i was trying to involve the so-called "admins" here by sharing information with them and trying to get you out of you imaginary "lagabuse world" informing you about news of the Wacraft III scene and general directions of where the game is going. Perhaps it wasn't that clear but at any point of you "demoting" me i was above you in rank and just wanted people to see that the hierachy works and that even high admin should answer for their actions (in my case flaming). Now i see that i took the wrong approach and ultimately it lead to this bullshit you constructed here.

Even before it was clear to me that its not ok when 4 admins do the job of 1, have no time or don't want to spend it here, wanting others to do the work for them but stay in full control of the league.

Same like akuma and agent you are fighting for power, ready to ruin the league which many people spent time for to simply stay in charge for a little while the league is dying (why improve lagabuse when you can plot intrigues and fight for power?).

How come that such mega flamer and bad person as me honestly wanted to make this server a better place for people and you all: examplary "admins" only sit and plant intrigues? This is like the most retarded community i ever used to be in: real developers like ancient priest and monax have no rights but write real code and implement features, mrs admins have no clue even about how to manage people, not speaking about the technical side of the question but have all "power". This is total nonsense.

You can remove this topic like always and ban me - idc, its clear that someone like you don't deserve to be here at all, this might be the real reason why this community has died.

While working on my probject i got an idea. What if we added symbolic skill ranks to !sd command. For example you could type !sd and it displayed:

Player <Name>, PSR: 1800, Rank: A, Games: ....

Rank would be based on stats: good stats = high rank, bad stats = low rank.

Such estimation could be fun but from the other side it is subjective and unpleasant for those who would get ranked as "bad" . Althrough it could be a sign to improve yourself.

What do you think?
