Assuming that bane is a decent player (which won't happen on this server, since there are no decent players here, except for me ofcourse) he completely dominates the lane vs heroes who don't have spells to farm the creepwave or heroes that can't harass very aggressively or heroes that aren't tanky or heroes that don't prevent him from farming, but bane doesn't have spells to farm the creepwave/push the creepwave then go for rune so he is weak to those that do, since his opponent can just do that then go get a dd then the -dmg is irrelevant compared to before, also there are several heroes who just can kill him outright at very early levels, and if he has sleep the best he can do is just prevent them from doing that but he'll remain low hp till he heals so he loses some creeps, with those creeps his opponent can get more items etc, also there are heroes who don't give a fuck about him at all, they can ignore him completely and just freefarm (dk with armor and fire breath for example).
Still, bane is a very good hero on mid 1v1 if you play 1v1 with no runes, but you should consider other, much more important aspects when talking about this, since you are playing dota 5v5, sure bane looks excellent on 1v1 with sleep and -dmg, but then when you look at a 5v5, bane isn't so great anymore.
Why ? He won't have his nuke high lvl if he goes for sleep and -dmg to dominate the lane, then his mid lane opponent can just go get a rune then gank and kill an entire sidelane at lvl 3, then go grab another rune kill the other sidelane at lvl 5, meanwhile bane sits mid and cries because his lane domination doesn't mean shit since his opponent just went and killed 2 sidelanes, or he tries to roam to sidelane too and all he can do is sleep and deal physical dmg, which sure, it can work too, given the ridicolously low level of play on this server.
Ultimately, everything depends on the level of play, for example PA dominates pubs, but in competitive scene for instance it's absolutely never picked now, because even those clueless noobs realised it's useless all game in 5v5 engagements, it's only good lategame if it has a good earlygame, it can't have a good earlygame because it IS bad earlygame, it can't have a good midgame because it IS bad midgame and it WILL have a bad earlygame too since it IS bad earlygame, it absolutely cannot have a good lategame because it had a bad earlygame and a bad midgame. Why ? It's simple, because it is a useless creep earlygame, so the enemy team can force 5v5 fights by pushing towers vs it because of that, and then things get slowly and then increasingly rapidly out of reach, because of way too ridicolously superior map control, vision advantage, item advantage, level advantage for the enemy team. (this is ofcourse at the level of competitive play, which is a bit better than pubs where everything is completely irrelevant and no matter how big an advantage you have, you will always find different various and magical ways to throw it away around three thousand times per game, but only a bit better, not much, even though it seems much to you, since you are low)

Counter OD with NA ? You're kidding right ? How the fuck do you expect NA to counter OD ? Burn a little mana ? Stun ? NA can't lasthit anything, when OD will be 7, NA will be 5 at best if the OD isn't braindead, the skill of the NA player is irrelevant here, again, if the OD isn't braindead. (NA should be 3-4 when OD is 7 if OD plays correctly, because he can just kill the NA when OD is level 6)
