Yea i remember this ...i still need to make you a signature :) when i am more on line of course ...well my suggestions for you...
Try lower dimensions ,like 500 x 200 max i like 400x120 less is more and if you can do on smaller work spaces you really advance in PS...also i dont know if this is PS or not but use PS because it is only program i know is good for art ( i am not corel draw user so i dont ,i use it for making album cover signs for my dj frends,not for my kind of art)
Try downloading brushes from deviantart.com and try making custom backgrounds ,using smudge tool etc (watch tutorials) also i see you like sharp images ( i think so) try using renders for back grounds like c4d or 4 dimension renders also found on google but use ones with white backgrounds beause it is transparent ,black ones are not ...also try master pen tool ,there is simple tut on youtube for pen tool and you can make miracles with it :)

I saw what you wanted ther ein PM...it is easy to do rly...use that brush ,increase size u want ,put it behind font (if you have layers) and lower opacity ...or if it is normal picture (stock) and u modified it you can put above it ,and loweropacity but use eraser tool to delte parts which go over render font :P

in graphic section are good tuts for smudging, depth and others stuff how to create nice BG, and a lot of links on others tuts in Resources sticky and some normal threads ;) it take some time to read it all and try start there 8)

Dear GFX User
Because we will RELAUNCH our ladder soon and to make sure we add all points you deserve and dont forget everything, we will LOCK Every showroom!
So what do you have to do?
- Make sure you have EACH signature or work you made saved on your computer.
- When the New showroom section is open, open a new topic for your showroom.
- Add all signatures/works you want to be judged at for the ladder.
- Once you've added everything, PM me and I will judge your works(with another gfx mod).
- We will post the amount of points you will get at that point for your showroom.
