GFX Mini Games / Puzzle game

A very simple mini-game. You are given empty patterns to choose from, which have to be filled with pictures related to the theme (chosen by you).

How to create the puzzle pieces (Photoshop):

- Open a source picture and copy-paste it to the main (pattern) image in a separate layer
- Select a puzzle piece with magic wand on the pattern layer
- Switch to the picture layer and copy-paste (only the selected part will be copied)
- Delete the picture layer

This should leave you with a cropped picture of the exact same form as the puzzle part you selected before and on the same position:




Rules:
Pick a pattern from the provided ones
The size (640x640) should stay the same and the chosen pattern should NOT be modified
ANY effects and tools can be used on the source pictures (or puzzle pieces)
The pictures to be converted to puzzle pieces can be found anywhere on the internet

I'm currently working on the wiki and require some special labels for the section names. Here is the page i need it for (its not completed yet): http://wiki.eurobattle.net/index.php?title=TempPage

Names: Warcraft III, Server, User account, Eurobattle.net client, Troubleshooting
Theme: black to blue colors, matching the theme of the wiki, would be good to have the eurobattle.net logo inside
Size: approx 200x35

Ideally i would like to have a psd with a text field because some changes may be needed later and i also plan on using such labels on the other pages.

Technical support / New Patch [1.28.5] (Custom Games)

The server was updated to 1.28.5.

What was improved/fixed:

- Users with non-english usernames should be able to connect properly now
- Better 4K screen support
- Quick update from 1.28.x to 1.28.5 should work for everyone with unmodified english warcraft 3
- Full update from any version of any language to 1.28.5 is now possible by clicking the "Perform full W3 update" button in the Client (Note that your game will be in english afterwards)
- The Client will download the current DotA map if missing automatically
- Added DotA 6.88 gateway which is currently disabled
- Minor bug fixes in the Client

How to update:
- Simply launch the client and let it set up everything for you. If the quick update is possible, the Client will perform it (~50 MB), in any other case it will download the full update (~900 MB). A few popups will appear during the patching asking you to confirm the download.

If you are a new user, you might need to install Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 x86 too.

Common problems:

- Ingame resolution -> http://dota.eurobattle.net/la/forum/index.php?topic=179261.msg638722#msg638722
- Win XP users might not be able to connect with the "Unable to validate game version" message.
- "Unable to validate game version" for anyone else althrough the game is on 1.28.5 -> Check if the path to warcraft 3 contains non-english characters and change it if necessary.
- "Could not initialize wc3" at startup ->Perform the full update, if it won't help, download and extract 1.28.5.zip in your game folder.
- Unable to connect when using gproxy gateway -> Check for non-english characters in game's path and your firewall settings. If it won't help enable debugging and provide gproxy.log
- Game does not start -> Check if w3l.exe is present in your game folder, reinstall Client if not and add it to exceptions in your antivirus (if you have one)
- Missing w3k, w3l.exe files / asking for keys on startup -> reinstall the Client
- Green icons -> delete war3mod.mpq from your game folder and reinstall the Client

- Account activation -> Post your nick in this thread and your account will be activated manually.

-Fewer games -> wait until bot owners will set their bots up for this patch

Technical support / New Patch [1.28.2] - Check for common issues

The server was updated to 1.28.2 recently, there are some problems for now but they are beeing fixed. Please check this link for details and the intsructions of how to update your game.

Note that its always better to install version switcher and gproxy in their own directories and not in your main warcraft 3 directory.

Common issues:

1) Unable to connect through Gproxy gateway -> reinstall Gproxy v8 from the link above

2) Icons are displayed as green squares -> fixed

3) Unable to alttab properly -> tick "Native Fullscreen" in eurobattle.net Client

4) Messed up ingame resolution -> read the post below

5) Game works only in windowed mode and renders a black screen otherwise -> try to set a different resolution (in video settings after launching it in windowed mode) and then change the game to full screen or tick "Native Fullscreen"

6) Seems that gproxy doesn't launch warcraft 3 by clicking on the gproxy gateway (on the main gproxy window) and displays a messenge that it is already running sometimes -> Just restart it and it should work fine

7) "not enough storage is available to process this command" once the game starts file migration after launching it for the first time after patching -> Move your maps and replays to a separate folder and start the migration again.

8.) "Files are opened/used by another process" during migration -> Move Maps, Replays, Campaigns, AI Scripts, Erros, Logs, ScreenShots, Scripts folders from the main directory to Documents/Warcraft III manually and start the migration again

10) Some custom games are missing -> wait until the other bot owners reconfigure their bots for the current patch

11) File Migration restarts on each launch and fails -> Try to clean up your warcraft 3 folder from unnecessary files, uninstall gproxy and install it again in another directory

12) "war3.exe not started from known InstallPath/w3dir registry entry" -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Blizzard Entertainment/Warcraft III/ InstallPath and HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Eurobattle.net wc3dir should have the same value (of your current warcraft 3 path) (case-sensitive)

13) Low fps -> Make sure your drivers are up to date, if you have an old PC try this: http://dota.eurobattle.net/la/forum/index.php?topic=179302.0

14) "Unable to validate game version" -> See that the path to Documents/Warcraft 3 contains only english characters (http://eurobattle.net/threads/206091-1-28-2-known-problems-and-solutions?p=1649377&viewfull=1#post1649377)

5. The guy who played furion hosted the game and then started teleporting to enemy heroes letting them kill him easily. He also managed to steal our aegis 1 time. Since he was host he couldnt be kicked and kept ruining our game until the end. I watched his profile and it seems that he feeds in nearly every game. According to him he doesn't fear a ban so it seems he commonly evades his bans with multiple accounts. I sincerely hope moderators will look into this matter and prevent such people from ruining our games with their infinity accounts

It was a pretty long and tiring game and the above mentioned guy was insulting me, my team and (as i later checked) even his own since the start and until the very end. His own team wanted to votekick him many times so I decided to include their point of view in the report aswell.

The guy playing Mortred first accused his teammates of not "playing team" and then took Silencers and Potms items from their circles and hid or destroyed them. He then continued staying in base for the rest of the game.

At the start of the game my mouse went crazy, it kept turning on and off rapidly while moving. I spend some time trying to fix it, it seems that the wire in its cable was constantly losing contact. All that time i was turning and moving it trying to restore the contact and thus make it work for at least a short period of time (enough for the game) the guy was swearing and insulting me in english and (i think) serbian language spamming pings. Later in the game he went afk refusing to assist his teammates. He also continued swearing in serbian and finally !ignored everyone of us.
