First of all, i should say i am tryharding / playing serious very rarely. I used to play for fun and stuff, but sometimes there are some games that you do not want to lose for some reason, so you start playing a bit more serious than usually
So, idea is very simple:
Do not fight teammates, be extremely friendly towards them
Be very calm and patient
If teammates are doing something bad and there is no one giving orders yet - take this place asap and coordinate them! Use simple and friendly language

This is not self-bragging or something I wish every forum user to use some of this experience i tried to share in this game It looks very simple and maybe dumb/useless, but save our cute dota community, please :-D
Also for me personally, top players of current month is obsolete and will make system harder to understand later (while there is also top players of season) I`d simplify to only one 'line' of icons
Watching movies atm, will describe my feeling later if its not clear yet
- since a lot of players have custom icons which they set via /icon command, should these ranking icons override it? Or just give the icon and player sets it if they want to? Or make it configurable on some web page? Or always set as active by default only to those who have no custom icon currently set?
This is intuitive for me that custom /icon should always override auto icon. When /icon is not set manually, let it be automatically assigned by new system If this is hard to detect, whether icon is set or not, - i would create new pseudo-icon name, so when you use /icon ladder (or /icon default), it would set flag that custom icon is not set by user.
Thinking about past months also, but that means icon must include month name in the text which is a bit much
As i already suggested deerloads of times and if this is not that hard (and this is really not hard), store winrate and #rank (and maybe something else) for previous seasons/months in a table, like a log. Every time when new season starts, only players with games will be processed. Should not eat a lot of storage space
So, this way we can still have information about player's brief stats anytime.
It should not affect icons idea at all, it just should be, for start, displayed on stats page, like 'Previous seasons stats'

Another challenge, more correct: Kill an enemy hero using casual mirana's back-arrow. Completion counts only when displayed arrow stun duration will be more than or equal to 2.5 seconds.
I just tried to complete challenge with additional conditions and failed it, to be honest. Multiple times. :-D I`ll keep trying tho!
So, tier. 2 challenge is: - Cast back-arrow from at least 50% of arrow's max distance from targeted hero - Blink (using dagger, okay) to targeted hero, approach him fast - Damage targeted hero with Starfall BEFORE arrow hits him - Let that casted back-arrow lasthit targeted hero
Agha's starfall does not count, but still, if you manage just with agha - send too. by arrow's max distance i mean distance when arrow gets maximal stun duration and damage
