Hello dear users,
We are hiring for BAN & UNBAN MODERATOR position.

Duties of B&U Moderator:
- Being online everyday for most of the week
- Spending at least 15mins solving requests for most of the week daily
- Solving about 30 requests per month

What we offer:
- LA bots admin access
- Tools necessary to do B&U duty proper:

Option to unban, ban or warn players
Access to ban and unban logs
Resources of potential multi accounters

- Bigger influence on LagAbuse.com community by being part of the staff

Requirements:
- Good English communication skills
- Well mannered and polite
- Availability to deal with requests
- Fair DotA knowledge
- Knowing and understanding of the rules

Things can make you get closer to get hired:
- Clear accounts - forum and server
- Activity on forums and in DotA game
- Experience with B&U requests (creating it in the past)

Things that disqualify you right on the spot:
- Excessive ban list and warn list
- Lying about other accounts (be aware, we scan for other accounts every, promising applicant)

General Discussions / Worst DOTA hero.

Hey,

I know everyone have his favorite poll of heroes or 1 favorite hero. I just wonder did you ever consider some hero to be worst of all. Most important to pick the worst hero, you need to have solid reasons which may determine the one.

For me it's Enigma:

Basically Enigma have ONLY team purpose and of course it's "Black Hole". This hero in my opinion have nothing else to serious harm enemy. Even Black Hole have bad sides - channeling. It can be stopped anytime with stun, ministun, silence, forcestaff... It can be stopped by 75% spells, items and abilities in game. At this point question is why would not pick some other ulti AOE hero like Tidehunter or Magnus. Both of this heroes have fighting potential and survivability.
Enigma is quite good when you start game farming in woods - but question is, why would not pick Lycan, Lucifer, Leoric or even (second pathetic hero) Chen.
Malefice spell have good outcome only on early game. As further game goes heroes become pumped up by items and abilities which make this spell obsolete.
Demonic Conversion is skill which can do quite nice damage in early game, but later on it's only gold... for enemy.

Overall I don't see Enigma competition with any other hero - it have no survivability, poor support skills (you will find 60% of heroes who have better supporting skills), it have no serious damaging skills, ultimate is channeling which makes it easy to break (grab only 4 from 5 players in team fight and there is 70% chance that hero have something to break your ult).

This is the place where Moderators announce their decision without requests. Be aware that Moderators can be in games undercover and check your behavior. If your account appear somewhere in this topic, you shall have description:

1) NickName(s) of banned player(s).

2) Reason (check RULES).

Unban Requests / Not satisfied with Moderator´s decision?

If you are not satisfied with Moderator´s decision or you want to complain about Moderator´s behavior, you can claim your rights by posting in Complain Board.
First of all, please be aware of our RULES.

You have to provide:

1: Your ingame nickname?
<YourNickName>
2) Moderator's nickname (as in subject).
<NickName of Moderator>
3) Why you are not happy with Moderator's decision / behavior.
<abusing commands, render bad decision, bad behavior etc.>
4) Forum link / Game link.
<link of request, link to forum post where Moderator broke rule, link of the game (post time of offence, paste chatlog, phraser actions>

note: Do not start new requests over and over again, because it violates Forum rule 1c.

Hello dear users,

Has anyone broken one of our RULES and still isn't banned?

Follow these easy steps to make a proper ban request:

Open a New Topic HERE with the subject "Ban Request <nick of player you want to be banned>"
Note: Topic subject in "Ban request" section ie: "HELLO", "ME MID NO KICK", "LOL?!?", may be considered as improper.

(We made a ready-to-use blank template. All you need to do, is to copy-paste, and fill it with your data.)

Dear users,

We decide to refresh rules on our bot. Our main goal was to make them more accurate and easier to understand. There is no many major changes, but we strongly advise you to acquaint with new rules board.
We started from In-game rules and be prepare for forum, channel and lobby rules to be reworked also.

Feedback / Huge problems with joining bots.

Hello.
I have really gigantic problem. I cant join to most of the bots.

Problem starts about 2 days a go.

Most of the times I couldnt join at all, but sometimes I join just for a second to bot check my ping and its high above 3k.
So.
Ping checked... I chave ping to PVPGN 53ms, to nearest www site 28ms. Nothing works in background.
Ports in my router has been checked. I opened a way too much. From 6000-7000 for just check. This is more that range of the bots. Still nothing.

Iam player who play a lot on pd.eu since about year. Never had souch a problems before.
Its really strange... I can join to bot playdota.eu.03 but I can't join any other.
I joined to couple of other bots but I dont remember numbers.
I cant join to game pubber by my own... Please told me whats happend.
Not a router problem. Ports opened wide.

How could it be I can join to specific bot, and I cant join to the other.
