Post by: iElite on April 06, 2010, 20:06

Hi everyone,

I have recently made a switch from pc to mac and was wondering if its possible to play wc3 online on my new machine?

my research so far confirmed that eurobattle.net and garena launchers do not support mac os.
does this server support mac os (i do not wish to run windows on my mac!) ?? and if so how can i do it?
sorry im a bit newbie when it comes to technical things :D

Thanks,
iElite

You have to find a PvPGN loader for mac, if you want to play on a PvPGN realm.
I don't think such a thing exist, so if I'm right, you will have to connect to official bnet servers...

PvPGN requires the loader for WarCraft III and it must be used without any CD Cracks or Hacks. There is no loader available for WarCraft on Macintosh.

There is an application for mac called CrossOver Games made with the intention of running win games under mac, also you can try the famous Wine (for macintosh) or as the last option install win as a virtual machine in your mac OS.
