Title: Can any help ?

Sometimes when i play dota (now it's on each day alomst),my pc crashes and isn't responding any command,only reset him.Anyone knows what to do ? Ty

well i reinstalled whole game,and 2-3 days worked perfectly and now he crashed again.-.- any other solutions guyz ? :(

Some solutions:

1. Many games problems are caused by simple things such as driver issues or out-of-date DirectX, check your drivers and directx.

2. There is one bug in w3 with replays and it results with freez and hard core pc restarts, so delete all replays what you have into w3 folder.

3. Check to make sure you don't have anything running in the background. Some common background problem-causers are: downloading, wireless network connection, internet connection, instant messaging, and antivirus scanning. There are many others, but these are the most common. You can check your running applications and processes in the Task Manager, by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del. Have a look at what's there, and end any tasks which aren't required. Also check the system tray (right hand side of the taskbar), and close any programs which aren't absolutely necessary.

4. Reinstall your system. Update your sound card/ graphic card with fresh drivers.

5. There can be problem with pc, not a game, like RAM, Motherboard, CPU, Video Card(s), Hard Drive(s). So, if you have money buy some new "items" for your pc :D
But I guess you havent pc problems cause it would crash/freez all games not only w3.

If u have windows 7, looks funny but uninstall Codec pack and install newer one, for example if u have k-lite pack, just delete it and install last version. :)

Hey i got the exact same problem mate!
sometimes i play the game and its just freeze and the game makes a wierd sound. and only a reset is working.

What is your PC specs? maybe we got the same PC or same video driver. it might be a driver problem bug.

you need to update your drivers... or if you have a wooden VGA then reduce the resolution put it 800x600 and try it.

can you take a screen shot of task manager running processes and performance during playing of w3? also go to automatic updates page and install every update for win 7 there is....

or if u are using any type of addons for W3 (theme pack, mana bars, etc..), try to not use it.
and u said it lats for 2 days with no prob, so what was the last thing u have installed before problem occurred?

I mean to be honest this looks like an overflow of memory, either RAM or GRAM, or maybe even virtual memory. I would suggest installing latests drivers for your graphic card, as mentioned install all the win updates, and try to check for bad sectors on your drives.
