Title: low FPS

Hi,
I have a relatively decent PC with Ryzen 5600 and RTX 3070, 16 GB ram 3600 mhz, and Samsung Evo NVME.

I have the below settings made in regedit.
Resolution is 2K. monitor supports 240 fps

In V7 version I have around 200-250 fps.
In V6.9 I have only 30-40 fps. I just need 60 fps as the game is capped to that from what I understand.
I tried with and without open GL.
I have no idea how to fix this, i cannot find anything online.
Any ideas?

Kyoo, do you have 60 fps in v6.9?

Try to:
Open Client when you launch W3 -> Go to "DotA Options" (under Warcraft 1.26 gateway) -> Find "MaxFPS" and try to set it to 500.

In past this fixed my problem. @ghe

I tried now on my son's PC, intel i5, rtx 3080. Same shit.

@TooShade I dont have any options under 1.26 gateway.

I found it Dota config file, it was capped to 64, moved to 500, but still around 35 fps in v 6.9
v7 is all good.
This is so annoying

Did you save the file updated?
Try re-start pc too.

Maybe is the internet connection.... Cuz my laptop is good also and i still got that fps

I have the same issue with RTX 3080.

I play v6 on windowed mode and v7 fullscreen.
Windowed helps reduce mouse lag/low fps on v6.

I have RTX 3060 but for mobile and i get like 40-60 fps in v7 in fullscreen. I can get 100+ fps there if i set refresh rate in regedit but when i try to play v6 i have very low fps there. Maybe you set this setting and thats why get low fps in v6 cuz they dont work well together you either play v6 or v7

so, I fixed the v6 issue (thanks to LEA) who suggested to delete the whole VIDEO folder from reggedit.
After that, i have permantely 60 fps in v6
Didn't play v7 yet, but will confirm soon
