It would be good to make one project, but find someone with good idea, and about tutorials here i dont think it would be useful, 'cause people dont even open topics, just to see what is it, and close topic.
AS3 is good, have a lot options and a lot of tutorials.

If u need help with websites I can help. I could do u a portfolio if that's what you want? Btw AC3 isn't the best solution for websites believe me. Now with jQuery and HTML5 you can get much better results with much less code. :)

I agree with Bukka, it's not good solution to make some web pages, but integrating with some software's, which we "could" make, for DotA , or something will be good. Especially for mobile phones. I have no idea, what we can make, but shure we can make something good, and useful for all.
If you have some ideas, we can work on it. And when u post ur website, PM me :) As you say, you're "newbie" , ofcors it's disaster at start, but later IMBA , MEGA, GIGA , HILARIOUS projects :D

I choosed as3 mostly becouse of the timeline, and Im used to it mostly... but if you say html 5 is better, Id like to try it too (: ...
And about the project for dota... yea, im totally in... we just need to figure out what do we want lol ((:
we could make MSN chat group and disscus it all, maybe make something (((:

Well if you can do gfx I can do the coding. AS3 is not the solution since its not designed for making websites. Anyways forget AS3, so as I said if u Dr.S can do some gfx I could do some coding and combine those. I ll also find some cool jqurey plug ins and some styling up with css.
But what I don't get is, why are we making this? and what are we making :D?

what damage :D he ruined balkan channel.
example : you give me power to vouch and unvouch people in channel like ,,ihrl,, and i abuse that power and unvouch(and ban) all people in that channel and now you have crap channel with 0 peoples...So do you understand point of my block ?

I know all of that, and a lot more :) and I can help u, but if you're making something that will be online for a long time, with 100.000/200.000 min. visitors monthly. So , I'm only for big projects :D If you're making something like that.
I know that some people from this site can do a lot, especially those GFXers with their skill to design portals :) Programming part , is easiest then designing, for me.

lol 100000 visits? wtf are we making? If we manage to get 10000 monthly that would be enough :D Also who going to pay for server? I can get u some good price and good server for around 3$ monthly :)
Well I would say both coding and designing must be good for the website to work perfectly. Also I prefer designing with code over making images and just implementing them. First of all lets open a new topic and see what team we have and give each one of us a job.
btw Rio can you show some example of your work, so I know which level of skill you are :/
This also applies for others, if you want to work with us, please show some of your works.

kingW3 np, your job would probably be around contact forms and all other things that require interaction with server if you know what I mean. (PHP stuff)

I think we should start with your portfolio, it wouldn't be hard. I have some cool ideas for a portfolio, something really modern. You portfolio wouldn't require much work, you and me could do it without much problems :) The only thing is you will need a server :/ for beginning I can host it on www.pixel-laboratories.com/Yourname (http://www.pixel-laboratories.com/Yourname)
but if you want this for work or something more professional you will need to consider getting your own domain.
