Title: LA game joining problem pls help

hi guys .i have a problem in joining LA games ..when i try to join game its says : another application is using a needed game port . Quit other applications and try again.

i tryed to turn off firewall and nothing , i deleted gproxy and reinstall nothing again...what is the problem? :S

anything without reinstaling my  wc3 would be useful..tnx in advance..:)

maybe your ports are blocked?

and how to check is it blocked ? :D and how to ublock ? srry im new on LA..

im runing win xp profesional SP3

go to your router and u will see all port settings there

If you're using skype, or some other chat client it maybe block your w3.

Check this, maybe some of this ports are blocked.


Look at your Firewall. Check also antivirus, if he have personal firewall he can block some ports.

I don`t know your router but it must be like that, more or less all routers have same options.

You must do that if you haven`t do it.

You can check here if you have problems  -------> http://portforward.com/routers.htm (http://portforward.com/routers.htm)

Find your router enter the game or software you want and it will show you how you do it.
