DotA Discussion / Re: abuse her status in

From what I understand from your post, I see that you complain in front of the court that a pollice officer has arrested you for robbing.

xManY did nothing wrong.

I have to agree with vaikiss here, you are opening pointless threads and the one who were discussed all ready.Trying to be a grammar nazi etc.I don't see a point in this topic since the topic was all ready closed
I closed the thread because it was spammed with useless offtopic replies, just like most topics nowadays.
I'll soon start warning/banning people and deleting messages.

PS: this is a hint to stop with the useless replies.

Feedback / Re: Enable vote random(-vr) for playdota ladder

Here's a newer (sevral months) quote:
Allowed modes are -ap, -ar, -rd, -sd, -cd, -cm, -sp and -em.

Last time I checked, vr doesn't affect gameplay, so it should count into ladder.

Here's a quote from a very old topic:
- modes that affect gameplay like -wtf, -test, -em, -so, -cp are disallowed
 - modes that are allowed are modes that affect hero picking process:
ap ar rd sd cd cm xl lm tr mr vr rv oi aa ai as ns nr mi mo ro zm

In your thread, you said that you were banned in this thread: ban req KASSEL. Well, I don't see you banned.
The fact that you're not banned, kinda makes your demotion request... invalid?

Also, it'd be wise that you don't post these things on the forums. It's best that you send a PM to his superior (and that would be me).

Hmm, 4 in a row...
Try playing from an other PC. I still think that you were unlucky to disconnect 4 times.

Giving the game link/your nickname is a nice way to start.

Anyway, I'd guess it's something that happens rarely. Try playing again.

Actually, no.
PD never used IP bans. The game owner was never able to ban others.
There was a time, 2 years ago, when this bot started, then the game owner had slightly more power in his game. But it was a long time ago. And still, the only thing a game owner did was ban the last left player with a command.

intresting not the exepert on dota bots, but i thought there's no diffrent permissions to admin commands like mute(ingame), kick or ban. If he's retired why did they left him access to mute command
Because of situations like this one. sakica_696 flamed him, badly and mrNiceguy as a responsible person, took care of it. He has access to the mute command, so he can react accordingly in situations like this one and have a flame free and enjoyable game.

None of the moderators, not even administrators are able to kick a player once the game has started. Bans are issued only by B&U moderators (that does not include the whole staff).

yet abusing the unfortunate situation is the right way to act in this situation?(this is adressed to whole seltinel team
You are free to post a ban request for the sentinel team, if you think they broke the rules.
But I do not think that any of the moderators will ban them. For a public game, these kind of things are normal and expected to happen. By joining a public game, you take the risks of losing, having noobs in your team...

mrNiceguy is a former staff member. He can not kick players, nor ban them.
Pausing the game for such a thing is not a good reason to do it.
sakica_696 was muted for a reason - flaming.

mrNiceguy did nothing wrong in that game.
Also, you should choose your words more wisely.

General Discussions / Re: How I upload to pd?
« on: May 01, 2012, 23:29 »
Only map uploading is not available. You can still create games with the currently uploaded maps. Unfortunately, the map list is also not working. But if I remember correctly, it had more than 5000 maps (or maybe even 10000, I haven't checked the list soon).

What is meant by 'pattern' is part of the map's name (or the full name). For example: .map 6.70c OMG would load the map DotA v6.70c OMG AI v0.4.w3x. If you use the .map command and don't get a response, then that means that there are too much maps matching that pattern and that you should try a more specific name.
After the map is loaded, you can create your game.

General Discussions / Re: How to load saved game in
« on: February 22, 2012, 09:10 »
The bots do not allow you to load saved games.

Going through the process of > Custom Game > Load Game and type Game Name > find saved game and go Load Game again.
would mean that you are creating the game and not a bot. If you want to host your own games, on your PC, you should make sure that you have a good internet connection and forward some hosting ports (which would cause you a lot of headache).
