what is going to happen? are we going to ban those who are abusing it in purpose or we should let it go untill next patch. i just played a game againts some tusk and his bug rly affected the whole game and knew about it becase he allways waited one or 2 seconds to cast it after ball.

What is the decision then? U said there most likely we are going to ban them but a public annoucment isnt made yet to let people know about it.

no announcment = nothing changes
an annoucement would be made if we decided to ban/warn players for playing tusk
1. tusk's bug is not game breaking
2. players can ban the hero
3. a new patch will hopefully be released sooner than later
if anyone has a game where tusk's bug was the sole reason why they lost the game, then we can talk options

thats why i opened this topic. this guy pretty much does know the trick even that he didnt admit cuz allways after the rolling ball he waits one or two seconds to cast the ult. and also he plays tusk a lot,in every rd game where tusk is he goes for him.

Indeed , over 20% of last 20 games were played with Tuskar.
We will discuss in private of how this situation will be dealth with best, and will post here ASAP.

I think its difficult decision, many people play op heroes and tuskar can be seen as such, remember all these bara players and tiny.
Forcing using ulti with autocats is weird, like you would force slardar ulti same way
So impossible to prove if someone is abusing bug, maybe he just like to play tuskar because his ulti is strong (its strong even without bug)

I want to point out that there is more into this "bug". Its not only about using it manually or with autocast. There might be another trigger which really does high dmg. At least thats what I understood after discussing with draco.
About taking action, I wont suggest anything and yet I wont post any other request about this

I have absolutely no clue why are you even discussing should INTENTIONAL bug abuse be bannable or not.
It's perfectly obvious they used it to gain advantage in games. (salih report)
It's perfectly obvious other players find this annoying.
It's perfectly stated in rules, this is considered as cheating.
You do not need any announcements to apply sanctions, you already have it in rule book - in case you forgot.
5. Player must not use any kind of cheats/bugs:
a) Abusing inner DotA bugs will be considered as cheating.

I dont agre because this bug isnt obvious. Maybe they use it unintentially because tuskar ulti is already strong. I think sanction would be not fair, need to be sure that its intentional bug abuse and not just spamming op hero

Well, if you mean OP its different, ex: Requiem of Souls + Euls = insta kill (most of the time, or at least 80% dmg) then we can see it same as Walrush Punch. That is what I can understand from that point of view. Jimmy was referring to that also (probably).
However, in this case, it is different. The information we got for now is that "Walrush Punch does high dmg (not written in description meaning its 100% bug + dracolich agreed and said himself; the author of the map) when casted manually". Also, there is something else that we do not know yet which we are going to learn when new release.
