"Lost the connection" or "Left the game voluntarily" ?

I dont understand why when I "lost the conexion", when I check the stats of the game it says i "Left the game voluntarily" So I really dont understand in what depends, because when i check another games I see that theres people who says "lost the conexion" . It's a bug? Can you explain that thing? I dont get it
Another thing is that sometimes it says : "lagged out". Whats the difference btw that and "lost the conexion"

because when host see the "lost the connection" and he played good - he wont ban him
if he played good and host see the "left the game *" - host will think he is a leaver and ban him 50%

Oh, i understand it ) I just asked if it was bug/random,but u explained me isnt it has a reason. Thanks!
