How does PSR work?

I am asking cause as I can see if you have high enough PSR you dont lose it. Shouldnt ppl with most PSR in game lose most and those with lower lose less?

Thanks. But from what i have seen just now PSR is kinda useless (no offense to the one that made the system)

But what if you play with imba stupid team you will lose too much,anyway if your psr is way above opponents you get less psr and if your above you get more.Now to be balanced you get much psr till 1700 after that you get less psr so there won't be any lucky winners on ladder
