I'm aware and against it for a long time now.. I mean I know our freedom on the internet will be greatly, if not all restricted. Yes, pornsites and funneh included :(. But my question is : what we simple users of the internet can do to boicot the project ?

Quote from Wikipedia:
"Contact your local State Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or similar branch of government. Tell them you oppose SOPA and PIPA, and any similar legislation. SOPA and PIPA will affect sites outside of the United States, and actions to sites inside the United States (like Wikipedia) will also affect non-American readers -- like you. Calling your own government will also let them know you don't want them to create their own bad anti-Internet legislation."

For lazies: SOPA and PIPA are kind of cencorship.

Afaik this is only for americans ?

Internet means whole WORLD. So if Americans get censored, we have a huge possibility to be affected (when we considered America has a big pie on the internet)
Just think about Youtube and Google. They are mostly deploying in USA.

When i see money buys 'courts' and politics, nobody make me believe this cencorship is for good...

We must find another solution for those kind of bad situations. Like rehabilitating those people instead of putting them in a jail and educating the youth about it. (Which we are not doing well right now.)

My government doesn't give a rat's ass on so many people that live on the streets, on education and health systems. I seriously doubt they'll care I won't be able to surf the internet free.

Yea, google and bing (and other similar search sites) will be affected... And there will be no possibilities for new search engines, afaik...
I've also heard that for example, you won't be able to go to piratebay or other torrent site with typing the adress, but you can access it by typing the IP adress of the site, something like that... Let's just hope it won't pass :D

Btw, here's the american senator's response:
