@ Icy: If you want to overclock CPU get some Intel with K, like ShomilaC, these are made to overclock. I heard they went up to like 8.5 GHz. Ofc they used liquid nitrogen...
Hehe, Astaroth. There is not such thing as 8.5GHz ... yet.
AMD has the OC record and it is at 8.43GHz.
The intel processor 2500k is most suited for OCing at cpu ratio of 45, which will result in 4.5GHz , but you need a a decent heatsink (around 100$).  I am with the stock one and could OC from 3.3GHz only to stable 3.5GHz. CAn't say for 2600k, but shouldn't be different.

from what I've been using that same memory, it has performed well. But since you don't do any graphics, music, videos that require high amount of ram, therefore, you shouldn't even get so much. Why? Because a) it's a waste of money for you currently b) you can easily upgrade it later if/when you need it c) dunno how much that hyperx costs there, but use the money getting something better instead of memory.   =)

haha ppl why to get max overclocked CPUs if no1 of you use it to max :DDD never and around 3-3,5 GHz is enough if you take that there are 4 cores ffs count the speed - one for game one for rendering your dota vid one for dling porn and one cause Im so cool and pro :D that was a joke but you get me ;)
Ive got AMD athlon x4 quad with one core 3 GHz and in only situation when I reach max of all cores is rendering 1080p 3D animation :P even AE while rendering doesnt take 50% of CPU it takes RAM so RAM priority is bigger
and at 3D rendering I set CPU afinity to only 2 cores so it doesnt overheat and I can work on other stuff thats all you dont need to have best set now cause you never use it and youre no fu rocket scientist :D
Spoiler for Hiden:

shame there isnt original from misfits just this TV crap but its enough :D

I download blu ray movies , and i ripp them all the time )in mkv fomat for pc and mp4 for iphone=. Thats why i need around 2 to 4 tb of memory , so i can storage them , buying data dvds/cds wont do the work. Also i do same with music . For ripping ram is good , but mostly will be used when i edit feww tracks for making sets.

So ram will help me a lot , and some overclocked cpu , but i cant figgure out which gpu to take. I would like to have good image when i play movies and also for video games.
