its not bug its fog of war cause those trees behave like classic trees on map, they create fog so you are bad or non visible for units outside, but they see you so thats why creeps or any other unit got problems to attack you

The more Furion does that to his creeps the greater the push you make.
It's only useful because your opponent will get away from his tower and you can gank him for fb.
But again, I've never seen that in pub.
