Use VirtualDub or Adobe Media Encoder or any other encoder. And compress the video, you can compress it to xvid, just download the xvid codec, the quality will stay the same don't worry.  If you wonder why do you need to do this, it is because your computer would have lag while recording if fraps had to compress it.

Also don't compress the videos before edit because you will have to compress the final video which means double compress and lower quality.

That's normal to FRAPS... Use this program:

http://www.virtualdub.org/

I haven't used it in a while (haven't used fraps as long too), but I know it can really reduce the size of the file... I don't quite remember the process so I can't say in details... But here's some not bad tutorial I just googled upon:

http://www.donsalva.com/2009/09/07/fraps-virtualdub-save-disk-space-good-quality-small-filesize

I hope it will be helpful to you :D

Edit: bukka was faster ;D

Dont listen them, listen me!  ;D

Go to Windows Live Movie Maker (only Windows 7) and just save the video, and it will be 20-30 MB!
