-random pick in -ap games

Hi all

I find rly stupid go for a random pick in ap games, above all if the pick has been as last (the most important).

I know, this is not a big problem but i like to know what u think about this matter.

A wrong pick will doom an entire team

As feed i would suggest to disable -random command ina -ap games ( not in apem that is noob game so ok 4 noob pick)

well, next time u play ap game. u dont random, u take hero 4 which u think its best for countering them.. as for the rest of the players, who ever randoms, u can call them stupid.(stupid player with +250 gold)

and btw leo, there is no weak hero in dota. it all depends on the man who is controlling it...   yea.. better all pick smtng they want and make stupid team, then random and get gold and mybe smtng that will bring u fun,and thats all about.  random mode should be forbidden too imo, yw xD

lols whos talking .. the one who play invoker all the time in apem mode .. i really dont see that you actually care about the team pick or hero counter vs ur enemies ..

and yes i always use -random on ap mode so? anyone play who he wants so if all wanted to play carries it means all of players are stupids?

P.S one of the reasons that i -random so in 50% of cases i buy soul ring and pwn in my line ..

anyone can pick what he wants ... its not our business to blame others of what they pick .. to me teamwork and knowing how to use ur hero is more important than picking magina and void and naix and sucking with them (or in ur case invoker xD)

@ L_E_O i also agree of what you said .. but you can see that those players who really understand  what heroes to pick vs what heroes and according to what heroes ur teammates have are like 5% or something .. and not all players knows how to play all heroes too

I random on ap sometimes, when I don't know what to play and it's very good. Ofc sometimes I get some bad hero, but so what?

Personally I have nothing against -random. Problem is when he do -random and then -repick, these people are kinda stupid
Other stupid people are people who wait for enemy to pick and then -random. Or when we have team and we need tank/dpser/some hero with special skill to couter enemys (obsidian vs tank, low int team etc, slard vs invis team etc) and he -random, gets Techies, -repick, pick Slardar. Trololo

@ justice (offtopic) : y this period im always taking invo but u rly dont understand why? cuz id like to be a decent player with that hard hero (im my op one of the hardest). I must play it in noob games to learn it.
I saw on youtube 3 videos of invokerkaiser, rly nice, all 10 spells well used...

@ justice (on topic) : we r rly far, so far that I cant explaing u the art of picking (I read a rly intersting guide on how to pick some times ago, on the forum there is the sink 4 sure).

with this topic I only wanted to know your op in this matter...sems only Leo and Astaroth have understood what I meant.

250 golds can save your life you can get more hp so nukers deal 1/6 of dmg and not 1/4(example) also nobody picks any counters(almost).Instead playing ap play cm or cd if you wan't to pick you'r own team.You probably won't see anyone picking magina on 5 int heroes or sladar/gondar on 5 invis(examples)

If you are playing noob games what do you expect? Theyre unorganized, noone cares about anything.
When i play them with some REALLY noob friends i just pick whatever i want, if we have 4 carries nvm ill pick the 5th one. They are really joke games.
-Random is also when you are bored in those games and u want to get 250 gold. With a trick, u can always get GEO, AXE, or BANE with random, and poof 250 more gold on any of the 3 heroes u wanted.
If u dont want ppl to shitpick, go play some serious games. nuff said

Random is ok as long as you do it as soon as the game starts, so first pick in the team. Randoming the last, well thats pretty stupid, just like deciding what youre going to play before the game starts (im playing ap to get lycan/bara/whatever every time attitude). I rarely play ap games, simply because im bored of seeing the same heroes over and over again (especially after the dota 2 tour, now that everyone who has seen it thinks that there are 20 "pro" heroes in dota, and the rest are utter bullshit), but when i do play ap, i usually go random, at once, its no worse than picking first, since both your team and the opposing team will act according to the first pick.

Those are most epic moments, just like in one game couple of days ago, when the other team went 3 -random, and then  each one of them repicked xD So, if someone's gonna random, better do it at the start already so the rest of the team can pick needed heroes... And it many cases it can be an advantage if he randomed some hero he is good with

well i usually pick the last in the team, just for the sole reason that i know i'll be able to find the weakness of our team and account for it with my pick accordingly.. the problem is when there's -ap, my team goes 4xagi and they pick something beastly like two power lanes. I've lost and won games in -ar / "mass random in ap" just really by pick, not by skill.. It's true that there are no weak hero's in dota (yet there's one massively annoying techies and massively OP huskar that just eats int supports with the now ranged ultimate), but certainly a hero can be weak or strong pick depending on the matchup.

If i could do one change i would want world peace, i would disable repick in -ap, that's the only thing thats bothering me
