Stealing items Allowed ?

Please inform me if a player steals the leavers item is it legal ? in a game 2 players stole the leavers item for this reason we lost a game we almost won.

You can steal items from leaver. It can be better than sell them but it is hard to take them coz your allys will flame you. I hate when I wanna make item which leaver has and they sell it. When I tell them "why" and "I need that" they say "fu idiot"...

It`s not stealing,
                           How can you steal a item from someone that is not anymore in the game ? When someone disconnects or leave the game, all he`s inv, gold ecc - belongs to the team.
                                                                                                                           Now it`s up to the team what they will do with it. 
                     Exsample: If you have  a leaver and the game becomes 4 v 5 - 3 players vote, decide to share-take leavers items, 1 objects,  3 > 1 , items are shared and 1 player is  dissatisfied ecc.

I know those players are just complete idiots. The 400 gold for BF will help everyone soooo much. Nevermind the damage it could help with.
