Yes, Dota offers 1 million for the winner, but LoL does not offer 5 million for the winner, it's just prize pool for the whole season.

yea its true 5 million for whole season. But im pretty sure the final would have a lot of that cake. In any case Remember how dota become competitive. All W3 players whine that dota was for no skilled player. The same is happening to LOL, and it take time so LOL have a lot time as well. Im not saying that, that is gonna happend. But if the things continue like this there a high chance LOL would become enormous and become top game.
